Die Lage des Hotels ist spitze, man ist direkt in der Temple Bar, wo sich eine Vielzahl von Bars und Restaurants befinden. Direkt gegenüber vom Hotel ist auch ein Supermarkt. Weiters erreicht man in wenigen Gehminuten die Einstiegsstelle zu den Hop on Hop off Bussen und kann einige der Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuß einfach erreichen. Obwohl das Hotel wie soeben beschrieben direkt in der Temple Bar Straße liegt, war es in der Nacht nicht störend laut, da die Musik um 01:00 immer aufgehört hat. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer gut gelaunt, ohne Probleme konnte auch das Gepäck vor Abflug kostenlos bei der Rezeption abgegeben werden. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und sie haben eine tolle Auswahl - kann man wirklich empfehlen.

Die Zimmer sind etwas klein und leider hatten wir nur eine Badewanne und keine eigene Dusche. Aufgrund der außergewöhnlich hohen Temperaturen im August 2022, war es im Zimmer sehr warm, da es keine Klimaanlage gibt - ein Ventilator war aber vorhanden. Da man das Fenster nur ca. 10cm öffnen konnte und wir unser Zimmer direkt unter dem Dach hatten, war es in der Nacht sehr warm. Falls es öfters zu solch ungewöhnlich warmen Temperaturen in Dublin kommen wird, wäre eine Klimaanlage sehr zu empfehlen. Für uns war es dennoch akzeptabel, da es wie gesagt ungewöhnlich warm für irische Verhältnisse war und das Hotel nachvollziehbarer Weise nicht darauf vorbereitet ist.

Hotel induced Insomnia, now I know why there are ear plugs in the room. Buskers with the non-stop loud music and thumping.

I liked a goody bag on arrival and that we could check in early. I enjoyed two complimentary waters. Location was perfect. Staff friendly and helpful. Great facilities including a bar. Breakfast was superb and spoiled for choice.

Rooms were a little pokey. Very pricey to book, but in fairness it was a last minute reservation on a busy weekend. So for me, value for money was a little lacking. Elevator a little fiddly to operate.
