how short and rude the staff was in the morning I went to give the receptionist the key she grabbed it and didn’t even look at me or say hello

Beautiful location. Enjoyed the facilities, especially the outdoor jacuzzi. Dinner was delicious, with a number of gluten free options.

The rooms were clean and large. Air con was not very cool but was able to borrow a fan from reception. The grounds are lovely. The Restaurant were very welcoming and the food was good. Would recommend the steak.

The pool could do with some work as seemed old and worn and not so clean. Outside jacuzzi looked nice. Music was very load but finished at midnight

Bed cover was a bit shabby , one femail member of staff was very helpful and nice but some of the staff were a bit less welcoming.

Cheap, has a swimming pool. Quiet.

Room pokey with tired decoration. No windows, just a skylight that allowed other rooms to see us on the bed. No bar, just a restaurant.

Beautiful grounds, amazing friendly staff, fantastic food, clean facilities. The restaurant was amazing - the food was on point and the staff in the restuarant are a credit to the hotel. I cannot wait for my next stay in the next few months!

The shower did not drain - slipped and fell in the shower and hurt my left side.

Breakfast could have more choice. Pieces of fruit would be good.

The outdoor and indoor facilities at the Spa were well kept and tastefully landscaped. The place itself was very peaceful.

My room was quiet, I have no difficulties with stairs etc, but you might want to ask about that if you do.

Location

Tiles in en-suite had not been cleaned properly for what must have been months if not longer disgusting build up of scum and limescale. Didn't sleep all night due to on and off noise from some sort of engine/ generator, have no idea what it was. Noise totally stopped in the morning so why did it need to run all night? Too many steps, like an assault course getting to room, up steps, down steps, up steps. No lift. Won't stay here again

Good location

Double bed in the room , when I complained we were changed to a room with the king size that was on the booking.

Room 55 overlooked through skylight by rooms above. Bathroom very very small. My husband and I are very slim but Shower entrance so small could only fit through sideways.

The hotel was much nicer than it appears in the photos on the website and it is set in lovely grounds. The rooms were well decorated, spacious and clean. The service was great and the breakfast was lovely.

There was only one thing that I would like to change and that was the shower screen. Unfortunately it was a fixed screen that wasn't long enough and meant that a lot of water was able to get onto the floor. We had to be very careful while showering and still had to use most of our towels to mop it up.

We had the best welcome. The room was amazing. We had a large bathtub with jacuzzi settings. The bed was nice and comfortable and the air-condition was so good that it kept us cool. The restaurant had amazing meals, and the staff was brilliant. As a hotelier myself, I take notice of things, and everything was perfect. We are already looking forward to our return.

We asked for a late checkout and paid the extra cost for 2 o'clock. 13.55 they messaged me to contact the reception and told me that my stuff were at the back of the reception. My disappointment was when I saw my suitcase the hand rail for my small suitcase was missing. I knew it was loose but when I left my suitcase in the morning it was still intact.
