Room, staff and food were very good.

Heating was difficult to manage. Had to get help.

No cask ales on offer either of the 2 nights we stayed.

The 12.5 survice charge on the restaurant. Too steep for a pub. And all my drinks were included in this service charge even though I went to the bar myself each time to order. I shall now pay for drinks separately rather than put on a bill as some places are starting to charge service for everything even if there is no service. A shame because our overall stay was great
