Great hotel, an oasis in a noisy Cusco. The staff is exceptionnaly friendly without being overbearing. The room was huge, with the giant bed and a great bathroom. They turned on the spa just for me and I had a blast in a hammam by myself with a stunning view on Cusco. The breakfast was rich, with a large variety of choices.

Hi, firstly, thank you for a wonderful stay at your beautiful hotel! Your staff and facilities are fantastic. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time and felt very comfortable. The food from your fabulous restaurant was also delicious and stunningly presented. Thank you so much!
Nothing negative to say about this hotel.

The hotel is stunning, the location is perfect, the breakfast is amazing and the staff are fabulous, I would highly recommend this hotel.
The staff are wonderful and service is exceptional, so friendly and welcoming, a special mention to Mani, who was wonderful - went above and beyond for us. He knew we were doing the Inca trail and had a breakfast packed up for us to take with as we were leaving at 3am and on return, knowing we would be exhausted, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite.
On check out he offered to pack us up a lunch to go also, he was amazing and an absolute pleasure to meet.
Nothing, everything surpassed my expectations

Prestine setting. Ideal location. Great food, both the restaurant for dinner and the breakfast. Exceptional staff. Top tier hotel without paying $1000/night. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Casa Cartagena was peaceful, surrounded by beautiful gardens and artwork, the staff were all exceptional, we were greated with herbal tea. The spa was relaxing after days of walking the city. I recommend staying here !!

I stayed here with my sister for one week. We are Australians and in our thirties. We absolutely loved our time at Casa Cartegena. The staff were so welcoming and made great recommendations about local restaurants (food is incredible in Cusco). We really enjoyed our breakfast each morning in the tranquil garden (recommend the crepes!), and each evening Pisco sours together with delicious snacks were delivered to our room. Beds were very comfortable and made up each day, complete with chocolate on the pillow. One of the most enjoyable hotel stays of our lives!
Nothing.

The staff were incredible, very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The online photos do not show how amazing the decor and courtyard are. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the free cocktail and canapés in the evening were a lovely treat. The location was great, our room was stunning and we felt as if we had a personal service, the staff knew our room numbers and names.
Only because I struggled with the altitude in Cusco, I found it hard to walk up the hill to the hotel without being extremely out of breath! Not the fault of the hotel.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful!!! I couldn’t ask for better views from our little patio area! The staff were so incredibly nice and helpful and got us everything and anything we asked for. The breakfast was way more than I was expecting and was absolutely delicious!!!
The room was loud. We could hear all the reception activities and the coffee/tea making they were doing at the crack of dawn. The mattress was a little harder than the average and made sleeping slightly uncomfortable.

Beautifully manicured, clean and exceptional staff. We also loved the spa and had amazing massages there too. The breakfast buffet is over the top incredible, delicious and has everything needed and more.

Spectacular colonial property built on an Inca structure a few minutes walk to restaurants, museums, Plaza de Armas, cathedrals, San Blas área & San Pedro market. Gorgeous courtyard, amazing modern details with original 16th century artwork maintained in renovation. The breakfast was to die for and the coffee the best we’ve had in Peru! The service was impeccable and the spa services were exactly what we needed after the 4-day Inca Trail hike. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Cusco!

Hard not to like pretty much everything about this place. Location was perfect, staff very friendly and extremely helpful, spa was impeccable, surprise gifts constantly delivered to the room (cold and hot beverages, finger food, chocolate). The whole design of the building is sooooo beautiful and the breakfast OMG (by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had).
Unless you don’t like to be pampered nearly 24/7, there’s hardly something you wouldn’t like about this place.
