Good location and lovely gardens. Great pool. Staff were friendly and polite.

The food was pretty average. There was a good selection for breakfast however, it was quantity over quality. There were never enough staff on at breakfast to ensure food, plates, bowls and cutlery were available. Every breakfast we had to try and find staff members to get these items - we had breakfast at various times so this issue wasn’t just related to ‘busy times/days’. The ‘Wharf restaurant’ also appeared to be understaffed and or staffed with an imbalance of inexperienced staff as they often messed up our order. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it had a kids club (we were holidaying with family) however, it was closed for the most of the time. This was disappointing. The rooms were clean and of a reasonable size but we felt the bathrooms to be a bit small. Upon checkout the hotel had no record of us paying for the room and to avoid being charged again we had to produce the receipt. Luckily we had kept this but I had to dig it out of our packed luggage. The staff apologised for this misunderstanding however, for such a big Hotel/Resort, it beggars belief they would have no record of our payment (paid on arrival). Again, it would appear that the staff were not appropriately trained in using the hotel’s computer system. The staff apologised however, this left a negative impression for us. I am not sure we would stay at the hotel again.

The room, location, Buffett breakfast, facilities were out of this world.

Nothing it was fantastic

The rooms are very big. The bed is so big, three can fit in the bed :). Overall the room is clean. Bathrooms are big and shower is amazing. The breakfast has a big selection of food and food was always tasty and fresh. Hotel is very close to the Airport so after a long trip you will appreciate being at the hotel in a few minutes. The highlight of the hotel are the surrounding grounds and pool area. They are so beautifully set up and well maintained. The restaurant of the beach offers are good selection of food at very good prices and all the food that we have tried was all very good. The staff at the hotel are all so welcoming and nice. I have no problem recommending this hotel.

There is not much that you can complaint about.

Gardens/rooms lovely and well kept. Staff were nice. Close to restaurants, the beach and shops. walkable distance to Waterbom Park.

Constant noise from renovations happening right by our window was disappointing. People "claim" the sunloungers by putting their towels on them but then aren't actually in the pool area for hours leaving no space for people actually wanting to use the facilities. The nice outside seating area at breakfast is for smokers which put us off having breakfast there.

The toilet didn’t flush properly. The rooms are getting old and need abit of TLC. We could hear people in the room above us. I wouldn’t really class it as ‘ deluxe’ also drinks, food etc is very expensive
