The bedroom with privatif open-air bath is extra. The view on the Japanese garden is outstanding. Very good Japanese breakfast.

The staff is very kind and helpful but English is not always easy for them.

The room (premium house) was excellent, the wood aroma inside and view are magnificent. Staff was friendly and dedicated despite some language barrier.

For some reason, funeral march was playing at lobby during our check in. Combining with 4 roses decor in the room it made some sinister impression

Wonderful blend of east meets west. My room was huge and carpeted, some others were tatami. I believe must have beds rather than futons. The hot spring baths were wonderful. Their are both indoor and outdoor. I paid 3000yen for a private outdoor bath which was good. I didn’t dine in the restaurant for dinner. But breakfast was wonderful. The lounge area turns into a bar at night which was very popular and not expensive.

Very proper, luxury hotel, tastefully designed. All facilities well maintained. The private Onsen was enjoyable.

The Kaiseki dinner was alright but not entirely up to the overall exquisite standard. Breakfast was very good.

We had a room on the end of the top floor facing across the town; it had a private balcony area outside and, as it looked across an open park area, the outlook was lovely, and private. This room had three large single beds (or perhaps small doubles); not sure when three beds would be useful! Shower was great. Location a short walk from the Kotohira Gu temple complex, and adjacent to a park which was very peaceful after the busy-ness (on a Sunday) of the temple area.

We booked room only (that same morning) and having done so, found that it was not possible to reserve dinner! Can't comment on breakfast either. The suite was large, but the wc was a tiny cupboard - not sure why it had to be so cramped.

Facility & design are in details. Hotel views are beautiful & location is convenience.

Breakfast are full when I try to confirm at night.
