A very nice and comfortable boutique lodge. Very helpful and friendly host. Room is good size and comfortable beds. Small pool and nice garden area which is very pleasant to sit to enjoy some wine and cheese. It was a rainy day for us but that did not stop us from having a glass of port just before bedtime. From the garden, you do get a pretty nice view of the surrounding hills of vineyards. Walking distance to Quinta da Pacheca. Breakfast was very generous. Short drive across the river and you will find a good selection of restaurants.

I am so happy I found Casa Relogio de Sol. During our two week stay in Portugal, it was by far our favorite. The location is phenomenal with a gorgeous view. The atmosphere is relaxing - the entire place is decorated so beautifully. The breakfast was AMAZING! And the family who runs the place - friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I would 100% recommend staying at Casa Relogio de Sol and I hope to one day be back!

Due to a difficult time table of the flight, we were only able to check-in at 3am in the morning. The host had to get up for us to check us in. Thank you very much for this extra mile!

We attended a wedding at Quinta de Pacheca and this was the perfect accommodation option!

We liked everything. The room was very spacious and everything is beautifully decorated. The "garden" part of the property is beautiful and is very well kept. Too bad we didn't get to use the pool because of the unstable weather. The surroundings are breathtaking.

Everything, the accommodation was of a high standard and Carla was an excellent host. The outside patio area was a little oasis with many different quiet spaces and an inside lounge area for guests was both unique and an added bonus.

Great spot in the Douro Valley! Host was extremely kind, wish we had stayed a bit longer. Quinta da Pacheca is just a short walk from there so if you'd like to do wine tastings or grape stomping I would highly recommend it! Great value for money.

The room and the breakfast has a lot of small details that make the stay very comfortable. Location is nice if you have a car to explore the surrounding area.

The breakfast was very good and satisfying. Being outside of Regua, the location was very quiet with nice views of the vineyards. The pool looked inviting but we did not use it. Quinta da Pacheca is just down the road a little bit. Taxis will come from town and get you if you don't have a car.

Everything. Carla and her family are wonderful people who made us feel loved and at home! The property is well located in close proximity to Peso da Régua, in the middle of vineyards, super clean (her linens and towels were crisp and smelled wonderful), very comfortable and the grounds are very well maintained. Attention to detail is seen everywhere, the property is immaculate and beautiful. The breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of choices. Everything was very delicious. Carla is very conscious of the Covid situation and has taken all the precautionary sanitary measures to ensure the safety of her guests. Highly recommend and hope to be back one day again!

Property is located right next to Quinta do Pacheca, and slightly off the main road. It’s silent, private and with a very nice inner court.
