Furniture and decor dingy and old fashioned Evening meal menu poor. Breakfast good

The host, Sue was very friendly and welcoming. The room was a reasonable size but was at the front next to a road which, although in the middle of the countryside had a fair amount of traffic passing by. The bed was comfortable. The shower room was very small, but clean. There was a limited choice on the menu for dinner, especially as we were told there was no chicken available so we were limited to what we could choose which was pretty average, As for breakfast, it was a cooked, which was very basic, e.g. no mushrooms, or something on toast! No juice, unless you asked for it, no cereal. Not exactly value for money! Wouldn't stay here again.

wonderful beer garden with beautiful views. staff are very sweet. lots of character. nice big bathroom. nice and warm.

food was average for what it costs. very noisy but ear plugs worked.

Location / peace and tranquillity / bar / we weee made to feel welcomed.

All was fine though we would have liked more choice for breakfast.
