This is a hard property to review; there’s nothing really wrong here but if you don’t have the right expectations it would be easy to be disappointed. Entirely single-level property so no noise from any upstairs units. We were in a ‘Standard Queen Room’ so details might not match a different room choice. Plenty of places to sit besides the bed - small dining table has two chairs, there are two lounge chairs, and the little outdoor deck has two chairs and a small table. Kitchenette is not really enough to be a self-catering unit: very small microwave, fridge, electric kettle, and a toaster. There is a BBQ on the property. Clothes bar in the corner rather than a closet. Flowers and plants throughout the property are lovely. Chest freezer available for people who come and catch fish.

We could hear the neighbors plumbing (shower and toilet) but no voices (except when they were outside) or other noises. Bed is on wheels and shifts around too easily - propped up with pillows we were inadvertently pushing it away from the wall. Not really anywhere to wash dishes with hot water (sink in the bathroom is tiny and the laundry sink doesn’t have hot water. Minimal counter space at the kitchenette and not a lot of electrical outlets so you might have to unplug TV or microwave to plug in kettle etc. Bathroom is small and therefore the corner shower with angled-door is cramped.

We have a good stay at the Lighthouse appreciated the late check in arrangements and friendly service throughout the stay. Beach just right there, amazing views and sunsets. Ka pai

Tried to call direct. Hard to contact. Had to then book 2 br unit which was more than we needed. Expensive for what it is.

Very clean and well appointed. The facility is reasonably old but well appointed and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay.
