Paradise location, the most friendly and accommodating host and spotlessly clean. We could not have asked for a better stay than Effi Apartments. Everything was perfect, and our favourite spot in the garden shade area overlooking the beach was the most relaxing and tranquil place to enjoy.

The location was amazing - right on the beach with loungers and umbrellas aplenty. Our room had a lovely patio alongside which was a great spot to eat breakfast. The kitchenette had everything necessary for preparing breakfast and lunch.
And Effi is the perfect host. Lots of suggestions for restaurants and activities. She found us some beach umbrellas for our trip to Elefonissi and gave us tips for our Athens stay.
There is also a lovely yard with ocean view and couches and shade for a space to relax in the evening or out of the sun.
I like a firmer mattress, but it certainly did not detract from our stay and a good nights sleep.

EFFI WAS MASSIVELY FRIENDLY HELPFUL AND VERY LOVELY. SHE SEND US A MESSAGE WITH GOOD RESTAURANTS AND ALLOWED US TO STAY LATER ON OUR DAY OF DEPARTURE. IT WAS A STONES THROW FROM THE BEACH AND A 3 MINUTE WALK TO THE MAIN DRAG OF SHOPS AND RESTAURANT. THE ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE WITH A FRIDGE, 2 PLATE STOFE, KETTLE TOASTER A MINI KITCHEN BASICALLY THAT IS PERFECT FOR 2 PEOPLE WANTING TO MAKE BREAKFAST. WE ONLY HAD ONE NIGHT BUT WOULD 100% RETURN.

The host was super friendly and made an effort to ensure my arrival and stay was top notch, I arrived late on Tuesday night and she had prepared with a taxi pick up, water, and snacks in the room. She suggested places to visit and was always available through whatsapp if and when I needed to sound board with her - 10/10 stay!
The area was calm, but still in the very center of Platanias, and had good agreements with some of the restaurants and bars in the surrounding area.

Everything. The location at the beach is perfect. There are very comfortable outdoor sofas with stunning view directly at the beach. The host Effi is exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful.

Beach was quite depressing after seeing the other beaches in the area. If I go back to Crete, I'm avoiding the beach hotels because the best beaches are accessed via hiking.

The apartment was comfortable and well-equipped for a family with 2 children. Fantastic location and beautiful view from the room. Seaside seating, decor and amenities were inviting and breathtaking. Effie and her mom were warm and attentive hosts. Thank you ❤

Best place to stay in platanias, right over the beach. Effi's hospitality was great, she explained every place in crete with great details and helped us sort our trip. Each and everything here has enchanted us.

The property is located in the beautiful part of Crete with a beach located just outside the garden of the facility. Effi was such an amazing, caring and loving host. I will definitely remember this place for a very long time. Hope to get back there as soon as possible

We loved the warm welcoming by lovely Effi, the place is gorgeous, well decorated with attention to every small detail,
the beach is just a step from the room, the garden is lovely and again, Effi is an unforgettable woman, with a huge heart and willingness to help. We are still using her tips for traveling in Crete

From the amazing hospitality, wonderful location, breathtaking views and great well taking care of grounds and apartment. It was by far one of the best stays we’ve had. Effi and her family were so warm hearted and treated us like family. You can’t get any better than that! We are definitely coming back!

There is not enough words to express how nice Effi Apartments is. Effi and her family are so friendly and kind. My wife and I have stayed here 3 times now. It is always a wonderful time.

Everything was great. The appartment was right next to the sea and we enjoyed the nights with the sound of the waves.
Effi and her mother recommended us great beaches and restaurants in the area and even borrowed us a sun umbrella, when we discovered the island.
The breakfast is not included but you can book a menu for 6 Euros and it is very tasty.

Its directly at the beach, takes two minutes to get to the sea. Effi, the proprietor is extremely helpful and friendly . Also there is a lovely garden, to sit and overlook the sea. The beach is sandy and has only very little pebbles, you can walk on without tiptoeing.

This was our second stay at Effi's apartments. Again it was a wonderful time. Effi and her Mama along with all the rest of the staff are the kindest people we have met. I could spend hours talking with them. The apartment we stayed in was beautiful. The entire complex is totally renovated. I could spend weeks there in such a beautiful setting.
