Great hosts who greeted us warmly and treated us exceptionally. Fantastic breakfasts, special treat on a hot day, and comfortable unit with great beds, and good water pressure in shower. Enjoyed our stay

The villa far exceeded our expectations. It was modern and very roomy. The beds were extremely comfy and breakfast was lovely. The grounds were beautiful and our hosts were very accommodating and helpful with our unexpected late arrival.

Breakfast was exceptional, multiple choices of a continental breakfasts were provided, the fresh fruit was particularly good. The accommodation was clean, well presented and spacious, including our own garage. The family swimming pool was available for us to use on request however we did not have the opportunity to use it having spent our time exploring Christchurch. We would 100% recommend this property to anyone visiting Christchurch who has hired vehicle access to get into Christchurch and its environs

Clean, comfortable villa with everything you need. Amazing breakfast provided with fresh fruits, yoghurt, muesli, toast. Friendly host. Loved the rural setting. Games provided for the kids.

A warm welcome by the host and good explanation on how things worked etc. Very generous continental breakfast. Lovely two bedroom unit with spectacular views. Very relaxing environment.

I liked that the place was very very clean, and it was extremely cosy and well kept. The rooms were spacious and the environment was beautiful. The hosts were amazing, they explained the safety procedures to us in the event of fire and earthquake, and they prepared torchlights for us and adapters for us. After we told them that we had to leave early the next day for our flight, they brought the breakfast to our rooms for us the night before so that we could have it the next day. The rooms were well heated with heaters and there were heated beds, and the entire place was very well kept. I would definitely come back again. This place was even better than other hotels that we stayed in. They even had extra pillows and blankets for us.

The Meadows was absolutely fantastic. Everything was beautifully and tastefully done. Bruce was great. Plenty of recommendations of where to go. Hopefully next time we come over it will be summer and we can take advantage of the lovely outside seating area.

Big house in a 5-star neighbourhood, within a short drive from downtown CC, with all the facilities and amenities and the always-ready-to-help host. Absolutely dog-friendly, with own exercise paddock.

Such a beautiful place, very comfortable with friendly and helpful hosts. We hope to come back and stay soon! Very quiet surroundings with fantastic amenities.
