Beautiful peaceful location 25 minutes away from the busy and hectic city center of Ella. The territory has beautiful gardens and great views. It’s located walking distance from the beautiful secret waterfall and Pallewela waterfall. The breakfast was also very good. We liked that the rooms were spacious, had AC and a fridge. The best thing of all was the hospitality from the manager and his team. They did everything they could to make us happy.

There is a general overdue of maintenance activities. Especially the bathrooms of our houses have become at an unacceptable level. The shower head was broken, the shower only gave hot water (very dangerous), there was a lot of mould everywhere, the toilet was leaking water on the bathroom floor, the faucet was leaking water when fully open, etc etc. Also, the picture on booking.com need to be updated, as it shows a bar and a spa which are both not open anymore.

Das Zimmer war groß und komfortabel und das Bad modern und sauber. Schön war auch der Blick vom Balkon aus auf die hügelige Landschaft bei Ella. Der hübsche Garten mit Hängematte lädt ein zum Entspannen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Mir wurde super geholfen bei meiner Weiterreise und ich habe viele Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung bekommen. Vielen herzlichen Dank!!

poor facilities not much easy going

We were received with a warm welcome, which is always a good way to start a stay. The "resort" does indeed make you feel good, thanks to the relaxing atmosphere, spacious property, and nice views. The hosts were super accommodating, always there to help. For example, they allowed us to briefly use the kitchen after hours (there is a restaurant on site) and also saw to it that the gate was unlocked very early in the morning so that we could drive away at 6am. We feel like this place is a hidden gem, away from the hustle and bustle of little Ella. We initially hesitated to go there, since it's a good 20 minutes from town, but we are very happy with our decision to stay there. The Wi-Fi worked well and we were even given toilet paper, which isn't always the case when staying at budget places in Sri Lanka. :-) They accept credit cards! We would have gladly spent another day or two at the property had our plans been different. I would certainly stay there again!

We stayed in a room with an external bathroom. The overall condition of the bathroom was just okay, but, considering the low price we paid for our overnight stay, that didn't really bother us. There are not many options for food/drinks in the area (besides the on-site restaurant), so you might want to stock up a bit in Ella.

Lovely staff, amazing view and the best food in Sri Lanka! We absolutely loved our tranquil stay at Feelin Good! definitely left feeling calm and rejuvenated. it’s slightly away from the main town which makes it even more unique. We couldn’t have wished for a more relaxing place to stay. will definitely be back! Thank you so much! :-)
