The breakfast was outstanding, so many options and all delicious!
We only stayed 1 night, so can't comment.

Breakfast was excellent...a bit crowded on first morning. Maybe roger and his team needs to find an alternative solution eg..maybe guests needs to do a booking system,,,?
Roger really excelled st his task. My younger son was there eith his company a few weeks prior and he observed that Roger was more gracious towards the senior crowd. So Roger remember the younger grp is your future guests..lol lol
Roger you a star as well as a lady called Elzette.....Someone that should be nurtured for the future. She is very professional and gracious...well spoken!!
The restuarant needs some work regarding plating and menu etc. We had a fabulous stay
Ps. Our bed was not fitted with a mattress protector!! I called housekeeping and the matter was rectified asap. This is a must for all beds and especially In the hotel industry....!

The sea side view from the balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious and the service staff were very friendly
The room smelled like fire which stained all my baby’s clothes and blankets. There wasn’t much lighting as we pulled up to the hotel which makes moving around quite difficult. They do not designate parking or recommend where to park. The staff was under pressure during the breakfast rush the Saturday. Once of the servers was busy cleaning a table for me and my family to sit and the manager on duty told him to fix the coffee machine even though he mentioned to her that he was busy. This left me standing with a baby waiting for 15 minutes to be seated. She should have assigned the table setting to a different server in a more professional manner.

Food in Bistro could be better…Some dishes were bland and and service slow.Breakfast was fantastic

Trying to get coffee for breakfast was a mission along with waiting for the toasting machine resulting in cold food.

no vegan options on the menu. hotel was VERY VERY NOISY. could not sleep because of the noise in the passageways and noise from people in the bar and lift

The location was perfect, quiet, clean in the heart of mother nature with technology in reach. Close to many tourist attractions. The food was divine and exceed our expectations.
The beds was uncomfortable and the pillows to high. I had back and head ache from my nights rest.

Great central family friendlybeachfront location in Arniston
The room door locks were faulty, so not great when traveling with kids who were in their own room.
Having said that, we never really felt that security was an issue. The hotel has “unlimited” Wi-Fi, but you need to go down to reception to get more vouchers when your 1 Gb limit is used up - that was annoying. The restaurant is pricey for what you get & lacks variety, with the overall level of service patchy at best.

The staff at the hotel is exceptionally friendly and there is a down-to-earth atmosphere, but with no compromise on quality of service. One feels so welcome, and although the hotel is modern, it has that old school feeling of an era gone by. The location is perfect, everything is clean. We really enjoyed the displays of all the shipwrecks and the history of Arniston/Waenhuiskrans. I also enjoyed that local art is displayed in the passage ways that one may buy. They also advertise a restaurant in the nearby Kassies Baai. These things mean to me that they bring the local community into the success of the hotel. Love that.

We are returning guests, just love the hotel.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
We ate at Bistro restaurant both nights, thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
The carpet in our room seemed a bit dirty when barefoot.
The hotel restaurant menu was too limited.

Good breakfast. Good food in the other restaurant. The location is prime.
The Lady servicing breakfast was not happy to be doing her job.
Service at the bar restaurant is slow, but you should have some patience in small towns.
