Shower was nice and big. disability access was a welcomed feature in the bathroom. bed was comfortable.

Blocked toilet & long dark hair on towel

There was a crack in the window in the bathroom, but this didn't affect the quality of my stay. 10/10

The bed was exceptionally comfortable for a great night sleep. Staff were lovely.

The staff went the extra mile. My husband was having skin cancers removed on his head the morning of our check in and, knowing he wouldn't be up to sitting around in a café waiting for normal check in times, I asked if we would be able to check in a couple of hours early. The staff got back to me immediately and happily accommodated my request at no extra charge. That kind of customer service is rare these days.

Everything about the accommodation itself was great. Unfortunately, two doors down from us were some younger people, one of whom was shouting, screaming etc in the room and out in the car parking area until 1.30am and then again from around 6.00am until she finally left. Consequently we had very little sleep and were utterly exhausted. This is not the fault of Applegum but it did have a negative impact on our stay, which otherwise would have been great.

Reception not available due to public holiday. Toilet seat dirty. Brown stains on two of the big towels Noisy next door room and smoking so my room smelled like smoke. Fitting sheet on bed with several black/grey stains. Door not sealed so many insects coming in when lights were on. Overall facilities looking oldish Reception not helpful as I have asked partial refund/compensation and they refused. Overall, pay $20 extra and go to the next door motel.
