Även om vi anlände sent som 11 PM, kom värden Christina till ingången till lägenheten och mötte oss och förklarade allt om anläggningen så vänligt. Vi fick en karta över Porto. Hon skickade mig till och med en lista över sevärdheter och rekommenderade restauranger. Vi besökte en av dessa restauranger och det var mycket bra. Att lägenheten inte låg i city center utan vid kusten utanför var nästan en fördel, eftersom vi kunde promenera längs stranden varje dag och gå ut till de trevliga restaurangerna på stranden. Det var hur enkelt som helst att åka in till city center med bus. En supermarket ligger alldeles bredvid lägenheten!
Enda nackdelen var att det ligger ett reningsverk framför lägenheten och när vi var där höll de på att byta ett rör och då luktade det lite illa en, eller två dagar. Men det var helt acceptabelt.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful apartment. Our charming host, Cristina, could not have been more welcoming or more helpful. The views were spectacular, the apartment (with a lift to the 10th floor!) had everything we needed, a bus from across the road took us straight to the centre of Porto and there was a supermarket and restaurant next door. We would be quite delighted to stay here again.

Lage und Aussicht sind fantastisch. Die Anbindung mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln optimal. Die Wohnung hat Stil und ist insgesamt sehr wohnlich und gemütlich sowie top ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Eine mit Liebe eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit einer fantastischen Aussicht in eher ruhiger Wohngegend. Bus vor der Tür, Tram nahebei. Die Gastgeberin ist unheimlich nett und engagiert, stets ansprechbar und hat tolle Tipps für Porto.

Wonderful location with a fabulous view of both the Douro River and the ocean. The ambiance of the apartment was very nice and homey.
Wi-Fi connection could be a little stronger as the signal in the bedrooms and on the sun porch kept dropping.

Everything! Cristina met us at the property and was extremely welcoming. She gave us some great tips about where to go and what to see. She clearly loves her home city and is very proud! The apartment was in a perfect location, close to the city but far enough away to think you’re not in a city! The views from the balcony are spectacular. There’s a decent size supermarket next to the property and apparently the restaurant above the supermarket is supposed to be excellent but we didn’t use it. We had a car and parking outside the apartment was easy. However, if you don’t have transport there are easy bus links to the city on the doorstep! Thanks to Cristina for a great experience. I’ll definitely stay again if I visit Porto.

Everything, all was perfect: the place, the little intentions, the flat with the amazing view and nice balcony! Strongly recommend, shame we only stayed 2 nights.....
