the location is amazing- just at the playa hermosa. great seafood restaurant adjacent to it- they do amazing breakfast too. Johanna- the owner is an angel

The location was perfectly set in the town of Playa Hermosa. We felt like we were in our own little bungalow. Great restaurants within 1-5 minute walk. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Johanna, our host, was very attentive and helpful. If we had a need or issue, it was met or resolved quickly. You have resident macaws and iguanas to greet you throughout the day. The sound of the waves will clear your mind. Being able to wake up and watch the local surfers with breakfast was incredible. As well as watch them with dinner. Beautiful beach and surroundings. Property is very well kept and feels like a home away from home. You will definitely enjoy your time at this location!
Needing to ask for a change of bedding and towels. This could have been a cultural difference. However, when I needed anything, they responded and resolved the need promptly.

The beach and sunsets were amazing!. We wanted to be out of town from Jaco and this place fit the bill. There was an awesome restaurant (Vida Hermosa) next door with great food & atmosphere. .
The room was dark and really hot when we first arrived and it took quite awhile to cool down (a/c only in bedroom). There were 2 large double doors that could be opened but it was so warm out that it seemed counterintuitive to do that since we were trying to cool the place down.

The location is perfect, right in front of the beach where you can surf and next to restaurants and a bodega. Very quite and the room had everything you need, utensils, blender, pots, etc. I would definitely stay here again

The owner was really really Nice! But the pictures didnt reflect exactly the appartement! The bed was not confortable at all! And we had a problème with the paiement( when we réservez on booking we choose to pay by card but arriving at the hotel that was not possible! So we had to look for a bank on a saturday afternoon....it was not fun)

It was perfectly located on the beach, right in the path the scarlet macaws took to eat at the trees right outside of our door. The person running the hotel was exceptionally nice and helpful and we had a great time. We also loved the sound of the ocean.
There were a lot of kids playing late in the nextdoor hotel, but they didn't stay up past 10.

The room was very cozy and the location is amazing. This place is perfect for a surf trip. It is right on the beach and the surf is in front of the hotel. There is lots of ambiance on the beach in the area as there are various hotels and such around. The staff was not very present, but that was good , and when they were there they were very hospitable. The room has basically everything you need with a tv, WIFI, and a full kitchen. Cooking in the room to save money is a definite possibility. The pool area is simple but very nice. Ola Bonita does not have a restaurant , but there are a few very close-by, so this is no problem.
The bathroom is not very comfortable. As the space is confined and the shower and toilet were difficult at times. During the weekend one of the neighbor café's has a party and that was quite noisy as the room does not have any sound proof windows or door. We were warned about this beforehand though, that our room was the room that would receive the most hinder of the music due to the room's location.

It is a surfers hotel so it have what you need beach front, swimming pool, A/C, fridge, small yet equipped kitchen.
The sound of the waves are very relaxing and close to very close to restaturants and bars

Phenomenal location right on the beach. I could wear and hear the surf from my bed. Staff could not be nicer, more helpful, or accommodating. Room had everything I needed--from stove top to full size fridge, and cutlery and dishes.
This is not the hotel's fault, but there are hotels with h restaurants on either side that had super loud music playing on Saturday night. It was over by 10:30pm and it was Saturday, so this is kind of on me. But I was super exhausted and it was really loud.

Right by the beach. we could hear and see the ocean in the room and that was so great. the room was fine with a kitchen with all we needed to cook. there was an amazing wildlife in the trees just outside. parrots and squirrels and birds. it was a great place to stay.

Unfortunately, the music from the neighbouring disco was very loud; this was beyond control of the hotel staff though and they were very helpful in resolving the issue after 10pm

Beautiful view, direct beach access, many iguanas and ara Macau’s, beautiful location, chilled and helpful host (Joanna thank you!), kitchen and everything you need to make some basic meals. We had a room with ocean view 😍 the pool and the beach beds are awesome. A lot of shade at the beach!!!
1 thing only: not very clean (if you look in the kitchen cabinets and under the bed its not a super clean, better not look 😜).

Ola Bonita is perfectly located. Just in front of the beautiful playa Hermosa in Jaco. The room that we had was small, but had everything we needed. The pool is meters away, and even the beach. We the hammock on the beach, it was perfect to watch the sunset.
