Staff was super friendly and helpful. They were able to answer all our questions and had wonderful authentic breakfast every morning. It’s a nice private location close to Santo Domingo. Hotel staff has your safety a top priority.

They only have a few rooms which give you a really personal experience. The staff is very friendly. After checking out we could wait inside the hotel and use the common areas before our night bus left. We liked this part of Oaxaca and would stay here again!

The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and caring. The location was amazing, just a short walk to everything we wanted to see. The breakfasts were amazing. Truly a memorable stop.

The room was a bit small without much room for our suitcases or to hang clothes, and not much room for toiletries in the bathroom.

The breakfast was freshly made every morning. Fresh fruit and yogurt with a traditional Mexican hot entry. The staff were truly amazing. The room was super clean and loved the giant walk-in shower. The location was perfect!! We could walk to everything. The location has a gated entry and there are no concerns for safety. The neighborhood was walkable both night and day.

We liked everything about Casa Carlota. First, all the staff were super-friendly. During our stay, there were three main staff who were managing things and they were always greeted us warmly. A couple of times we needed a little extra help, and they were always eager to help. Everything is very clean and pleasant. My son and I loved to hang out on the roof deck in the evening. Breakfasts good. Fantastic location and charming neighborhood. Really nothing to complain about. If we go back to Oaxaca, we'll stay there again.

Authentic Oaxacan Breakfast with several options available. Within walking distance of downtown, several other restaurants. Oaxacan and contemporary art décor in the lobby, dining area and each room.

We loved our stay and wish we'd had more days here - great room and shared spaces (lovely roof terrace) and the breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us some great local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay at this charming property. The staff was very sweet and helpful, great breakfast, nice rooftop, and a king size bed.

There is a wedding venue nearby and the sounds of celebrating were quite loud, but our white noise app took care of it.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was perfect and the location is superb. Bed was comfortable. Overall we recommend staying there.

We had ants in our room (the staff cleaned it when we told them). At times there was a strong smell of sewage which was unpleasant. The room has no windows

La Casa Carlota has one of the greates if not the best services. They are very attentive, polite and very respectuful in every aspect. I recomend them 100%, the hotel its beautiful, the rooms are confortable and they make you feel like home. The food is amazing and the experience its unique, you get share the table with other guest and get to know other people from around the World.

There was absolutely nothing to not like.

Great location, super staff, comfortable rooms, perfect breakfast and a nice roof terrace.

No bar, however several small shops in the vincinity to bring some drinks to the roof terrace.

I recently had a 3 night stay at la casa Carlota and let me just say that at the end of my stay I was absolutely satisfied with my stay here actually more than satisfied! I also want to mention that I have stayed at other nearby hotels in Oaxaca and la casa Carlota has been the experience that has been the most memorable. This place is not only beautifully designed, but so comfortable. (Looks just like their pictures) Their breakfast was my favorite part ! They served something different every morning and my family and I loved it 🙌 and don’t let me get started on their staff. They have the SWEETEST most welcoming staff ! They made my family and I feel extremely comfortable. They will make your stay there 100x better, with amazing recommendations, friendly interactions, accommodations. I genuinely felt so cared about and I have never felt so welcomed ! Also honorable mention to Dulce she is the sweetest soul ! She is truly amazing ! She helped us with any questions and just went above and beyond. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here if you decide to book ! I highly recommend. It is close to the center, beautifully decorated, the sweetest staff, and great breakfast. My stay in the City of Oaxaca was amazing and I am so happy that La Casa Carlota was apart of it. Loved it.

Amazing boutique b&b with only 5 rooms. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful, especially Alejandro. The entire property and room was clean. Shower was great with hot water and the AC in room was fantastic. The upstairs roof terrace has a great view. My favorite part was their delicious breakfast - loved the mole tacos!
