From the very moment we arrived to the very moment we left, the whole experience was a delight! Breakfast was exceptional, our room was both comfy and clean and included everything we might require for our stay. All is located either within, or immediately surrounding a beautiful historical Windmill, which has been lovingly and sympathetically restored by it's owners Nicola & Andy. Didn't get to meet Andy unfortunately - a bit of a motorbike fan by all accounts, for as well as there being a detailed history of the Windmill (and more) in reception, which is located within the base of the Windmill by the way, are 3 pristine, shiny racing bikes on display! I was not expecting that!! We met Nicola only twice, once when we arrived, and again when we departed 2 days later. She could not have been more informative or helpful. The whole experience was a delight from start to finish. Thank you. Thank You. Thank You.

Lovely breakfast also did gluten free option for my husband which was excellent.
Building is very nice how it has been converted.
The shower just trickled out and the sink plug was hit and miss.

Very warm kind welcome, interesting historical building beautifully restored and very comfortable...our apartment had a comfortable ensuite and a huge sitting/dining/kitchen. Very easy access ...short walk from the station. The hosts provided really helpful list of local eateries and restaurants. Booking advisable!
Not a problem for us ...there are stairs to get to the room and inside the apartment was on two floors of the windmill itself. Other rooms have fewer steps so check if this is an issue for you , before booking.

Nicola & Andy were welcoming and friendly. Nicola telephoned me on the day to warn me of impending roadworks locally which was above and beyond. The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the facilities stated. The decor in the room was also exceptional and suited the location very well. Very scenic considering it was almost in the town centre and a very restful and quiet location but still central to all the local amenities. Would definitely stay again and hopefully will be able to return in the summer when the weather will be a little more amenable (laugh). Highly recommend :)
Unfortunately due to the winter season, breakfast was not available, however this was but a small niggle as there were plenty of facilities nearby.

Wow!A hidden gem in Scarborough! We stayed in the King Suite of the Windmill, absolutely stunning and full of character. Spacious, with a lovely comfortable sofa , dining table and fully equipped kitchen area if you want to cook which we did on one of our evenings. The bedroom was outstanding, beautiful decor, quality bed linen , comfortable bed and pillows! En suite bathroom with wet room shower. No outside traffic noise so slept really well during our 3 night stay.
Lovely friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome and we had a good laugh with, such a relaxing 3 days for us in this beautiful Windmill!

The accommodation, location and breakfast were excellent!! Nicola and Andy were very welcoming and helped us with info on local restaurants and directions. The Windmill itself is stunning and it was an incredible experience to stay there. Nicola and Andy did everything in their power to make sure we enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be staying at the windmill again!!! Everything was done to a high standard including the breakfast which was fabulous!! Couldn't ask for better accommodation or hosts!! Thank you!!!

it was a spacious self catering apartment with a nice view of the courtyard and all the amenities we required were supplied.
we struggled to find the cul-de -sac the windmill was on but in fairness we didn't look at the map provided before we came.

only one thing which is more of a personal preference. the mattress was a bit hard but like I say this is a personal preference. Please do not let this comment put you off in any way. This was a great stay and a very professional set up. I will be back.

loved the windmill, has been renovated to a very high standard and was very comfortable and modern. only a 15 min walk to Scarborough sea front and about a 10 min walk from the high street.

The windmill is located in a great location, I would say the town centre and train station is less than 5 minutes away. The staff are lovely and the apartment was comfy with great views. We will be re-booking.
