Location to bus stop and main town. Nice comfortable room and a friendly helpful host. Nice hot bath to relax in after skiing all day.

In the direct centre of town. You won’t have any trouble with finding it or the other shops and slopes.

Full disclosure, I didn’t complete my stay here. I’m not sure if it’s common for the area (from the people I asked around town it was extremely uncommon) but you’ll have set times you can use the shower, the bathroom and also a curfew. If you’re just here for the snow sports then this might be fine for you. but if you want to enjoy the night life you’ll need to make sure you’re back by 11pm or else you’ll be locked out. This is a neutral review because I didn’t actually stay. I spent about 30 minutes in my room trying to find another place that doesn’t have a ridiculous curfew. This information is important for any travellers considering your accomodation please include it on the online listing.

Very hospitable and attentive. Charming traditional rooms, futons on tatami. Excellent breakfasts. Spotlessly clean. Good location close to bus terminal.

About 10 minutes walk to the main gondola uphill. But we left our ski gear at the hire shop so the walk was no problem.

+ friendly staff + good location. near the central bus station + great breakfast with some variety everyday + with a small private onsen and two public ones are near by

- at 5:30 there was always someone using a snow plough. Could be a problem if you are sensitive to noise.
