The attention to detail. The spa, pools, gardens ect. I loved the placed and have never seen anything like it.

Wasn't their fault but the rain caused flooding so could not use some of the facilities due to flooding and there is still repairs and construction after covid. Kitchen did not have facilities as advertised but we were allowed to use the kitchen in reception to cook some pasta. Our reservation was also downgraded as our villa wasn't available to renovations. Communication could be better as some emails were never answered

The castle is really big and very well decorated, clean, the staff are amazing, and it’s just very relaxing to be there.

everything was perfect, ordering food and drinks though by the hotel application takes a bit of time, but they always react when texting them by WhatsApp.

Staff were attentive. It was easy to order from the app and the staff was accessible via wapp. Ubud centre was a short taxi ride away.

This is the first time that I had a different experience from the reviews of a hotel on Booking. There were cockroaches in our room. If so many decorative items are to be put in the room, then it should be cleaned. There were frogs in the pool in front of our room, and one of them jumped on me. This is not being in touch with nature, if it was cleaned, it would not look so dirty and would not be so disturbing. The swimming pool water was not clean. Unfortunately, the food was not tasty. There was no wifi in the room.

Amazing huge size room and premises! I enjoyed the food that was cooked in the villa and the calmness of the place. It was the first time in four places I stayed on the island in the last three years, where the first several days I did not want to leave the place. It was ideal for rest and asynchronous work. The last day tried the massage in the spa that the place offered. It was also amazing! The staff is very warm and helpful in all occasions. The place offers an online ordering system for food, spa services, tourism activities, etc. Beautiful innovation! The design and arhitecture of the palce is amazing!

Slow internet, especially when one has to submit urgent projects. Do not think that would make good quality online calls, if needed. Small detail but still. The tap in the bathroom is built a way that it wastes a lot of water. I think it is too close to the edge. In whatever way one approaches the water for brushing teeth and washing face, the water spills all around. Might not be the most sustainable solution. Or maybe, if there is a specific way to use it, visual instructions could be provided :) Otherwise, everything else was really great!

期待どおりの非日常的な空間でした。日本的に例えるなら「異世界ホテル」。もはやテーマパークのような感じで泊まれます。どこを撮っても映えます。 食事やマッサージ等はスマホでオーダーするタイプの為、観光の帰り途中にオーダーし帰ったらそれが用意されている。そんな効率的な時間の使い方もここでは可能です。 そしてプール等の設備も素晴らしいですが、食事もほとんどのメニューを食べましたが全て美味しかったです。インドネシア料理、メキシコ料理、パスタ等の基本的な料理、色々なものをチョイス出来ます。

お湯が短時間しか出ません。魅力的なバスタブもお湯が溜められなかった為、使用することが出来ませんでした。ボイラーシステムを改善されるといいと思います。 入り口がとても狭く、また階段の乗り降りもあるためスーツケースを持って行くのが大変です。荷物専用レールウェイがあるといいと思います。

Die Unterkunft an sich ist sehr schön.

Wie schon von vielen anderen Reisenden berichtet, das Essen und Trinken kam immer sehr spät, war nicht besonders und kalt, obwohl mein Zimmer direkt an der Lobby, rd. 10 Meter von der Küche entfernt lag. Das „Spa“ ist nach außen offen, sodass ich ohne Sichtschutz oben ohne war und in unmittelbarer Nähe andere Gäste umhergingen, saßen und sich unterhielten. Das war wenig entspannend und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der Massage passte überhaupt nicht! Das Raumkonzept ist nicht durchdacht. Es gab im Zimmer keine sinnvoll angebrachte Steckdose. Die Nachttischlampen waren somit nur Deko. Um den Wasserkocher zu benutzen musste ich ein Podest bauen. Das Zimmer lag direkt an der Bibliothek (Lobby). Es war dadurch leider oft sehr laut, auch schon morgens um 06:00 Uhr . Die „frischen“ Handtücher am zweiten Tag waren ausgefranst, schmutzig und stanken. Mein Plan war, am Ende meiner Reise hier nochmal zu übernachten, diese Idee habe ich verworfen. Zur Lage: Schön, direkt am Fluss aber abgelegen, mit Grab ist man allerdings in rd. 15 Minuten im Zentrum.

Increíblemente bonito estuvimos en la habitación villa 2 y se podía salir desde la habitación a la piscina, en general el hotel está súper cuidado, la limpieza 10/10, la comida 10/10, el personal 10/10 súper atentos.

La única pega que le encontré fue que fuimos 3 y nos pusieron una cama supletoria que era muy incómoda y tuvimos que reservar otra habitación, aún así no era demasiado cara y todo fue genial.

It was stunning! Every little detail was beautiful. We had a room over looking the river and have no complaints. Staff where super friendly and accommodating, helped us with our cases, helped us book trips during our stay and always had a smile

The location besides the river, the awesome looks and castle theme, the secret passage ways, the great food, the staff, the owners who interacted with us, everything was great!

The actual concept of the castle was great,set in a beautiful area right next to the river. A lot of interesting artifacts and generally a good place to stay if you're looking to escape the business of Ubud

It's not good for the elderly/fragile or anyone with disabilities. The steps are terrible! From the entrance off the road to the hotel is all steps. There is no access from the car park to any rooms, only down steep steps, which are at uneven heights. The food didn't taste bad it's just that it was cold when it got to us. Had to ask for a kettle and milk as not supplied in your suite prior to request.😐

I loved everything about this place! I mean it’s a Victorian Dream House honestly! The moment you walk in the reception you see this fairy tale inspired library and as you walk around the property , the breathtaking river view at the back side is a cherry on cake for sure! Rooms are a true paradise❤️

They might wanna add an elevator just for luggage may be ! That’s just a suggestion! very hard to carry trolleys on such difficult terrain 🤗

The property in general and staff.

The hotel itself is beautiful. Also the garden and swimming pools are fabulous. Rooms very big and they have impressive bathrooms. Location at river is also very nice. Great concept! Massages great! It is nice that you can order drinks and food to be brought to your place of choice.

It is a bit far from Ubud Centre and not much restaurants in the neighborhood. The hotel works with an app, which is helpful for booking a massage, order drinks etc, but WiFi is not always good and you get disconnected a lot while using the app.

The room, itself, was nice enough. Very large. Beautiful lobby/library and woodwork. We did not eat there, but what we saw looked tasty. They could deliver breakfast down the hill by a pool, if you liked. It is more than a bit isolated.

It was absolutely in the middle of nowhere. It was a very long walk up the steep hill, up the driveway and down a small road to the "main" road. Once at the main road, there was nothing. Nowhere to eat or buy staples. Everything was a taxi drive. Everything. The closest stores to buy soda, snacks, beer, etc. was about a 20-minute taxi ride down a teeth-chattering road. On the first night we stayed there, there were kids running and stomping all over the wooden floor on the main (reception) room. Mind you, the floors are just wood and directly above the guest rooms. So, by 2200hrs I'd had enough and went up and complained to the (very) young man at the desk. By the time I'd gone downstairs to my room, they had stopped the noise. The next morning when I went up for breakfast, the same young man (15?) approached me to apologize for the racket. He tried to justify the kids' racket by saying there was not much he could do as the kids were guests also and he was just trying to appease the guests. Probably the most annoying thing was this young desk clerk kept asking me to give them 5-stars on trip advisor. He asked me EVERY time he saw me. As we were checking out, he followed me through the lobby CONTINUALLY pestering me to give them 5-stars. He must have said it at least 10 times on our way out. I swear this is the truth. The pictures of people swimming and bathing in the small pools by the river must be a couple of years old. The tiny pools they picture are way too nasty for swimming. Full of water bottles and old paper. The bottom floor is advertised as a private pool it is not and if you're on the bottom floor, other guests can easily swim right up to your room. Creepy... As you can tell, I was really, really disappointed.

The property is stunning and very picturesque. So many amazing artefacts and just so stunning! Staff are amazingly helpful and kind. We loved our stay here in this very unique property! Highly recommended for everyone!

Great location. Very serene and beautiful location.

The only thing can say is that there are many stairs. Bit has more to do with the person than the location.

The villa is beautiful and spacious. I really like the food at the restaurant.

Sometimes it is hard to find the staff. The location is okay but if you want to do lots of activities in ubud is better to stay closer to ubud centre
