La gentillesse de l'accueil avec des explications pour tout. Une cuisine bien équipée pour se préparer les repas. Un balcon avec vue dégagée sur l'océan. Un garage , très précieux pour se garer à Funchal ! Et au final un local poubelles d'une propreté exceptionnelle. En tout un confort presque mieux que chez soi !

The apartment was large. I travelled with 2 other friends. We had 2 double bedrooms and master bedroom. The place was clean. The kitchen had all needed amenities, plus there was a washing machine available. We also had a garage- that gave us extra peace when we rented a car.

Its a very comfortable & spacious apartment with a nice little terrace. It was great to have 2 bathrooms. Underground parking was a big plus too.

Flat was on 2 floors. Lower floor had living room, kitchen with dishwasher, 2 rooms each with 2 single beds, bathroom. To the top floor you walk on twisty little stairs and it opens to spacious bedroom with double bad and another bathroom. There is also private parking in garage and also enough space for parking outside. City centre is in walking distance, most of restaurants, cable car to botanic gardens and big bus station in 15-25 minutes but walk is starting in steep hill - but that's the way Funchal is - built in mountain :) Host was very helpfull last day helping us with language. Pleasant stay.

The apartment was 15m walk from city center and good walking distance to local coffee shops, restaurant, bars and mini market. The apartment itself was spacious and well furnitured, with a private garage. I loved the room in the antic, where I could fully open the windows and look at the stars 🌟

The location was perfect and all the check-in was very easy. We were surprise with a deposit amount that we were no expecting but in the meantime we solved it with the owner and noticed that the information is already updated in the website.

The room with the crib was upstairs which was not practical at all for us, we manage to stay downstairs. However there were 2 rooms with 2 individual beds and 1 room with a big bed when we were expecting 2 rooms with a big bed and only with 2 individual beds. The apartment was clean but all the dirty appliances were left in the kitchen (we talked to the owner and he apologized).

Confort and view

Very good and family friendly apartment, I recommend it! We've been there with my two children (3y and 4y) and my sister, everybody have a private room with comfortable beds. Two bathroom, all very clean, and a big parental room upstairs with a traditional madeiran bed. Panorama from the terrace was also very nice, especially at night. The owner was a bit suspicious at the beginning and he asked the price in cash, otherwise he was very flexible and polite :)

It's on the mountain so you would climb a bit if you are not coming by car or taxi.
