the pool was the only nice thing about this property
ANTS, ANTS and more ANTS! ants in the bed . bed was super uncomfortable and definitely needs to be replaced.

The pool facility and the library was nice.
The guards were overwhelming.... rude and obsessed with the rules. The house was dark and not what it looked like from the photos. We also had to pay an extra $20 to store out suitcase....even thought the room was ready.

The location was wonderful. Short walk to the beach, markets, central area of city, and the bank. The tenants/guests were also all wonderful.
The only thing we had problems with were the cabinet under the sink kept falling off. And we think a few trashbags should be provided.

no inside dedicated parking. a bit small for 4 pool, with the sofa bed taking virtually all the space in the living room/kitchen

The condo was nice. Second floor with small shared balcony. The rooms were smallish but more than adequate for one or two people. It was clean and well maintained and the girl that met you was very nice and helpful. I was solo and without a car and it was walkable to restaurants and the beach. The pool and surrounding grounds were great.

The pool area is really nice, the AC worked and the water for the shower was nice and hot :)
I requested early check-in (12:00PM) a few weeks before our arrival and was told they would be taking a deposit and they would either charge my credit card for the remainder of the amount upon arrival or we could pay cash. We agreed that they could charge the card. My fault I guess for not realizing they completely ignored my request for early check-in and I didn't think to follow up.
When we arrived, it was a bit confusing as there is no reception or anyone to speak with other then a security guard who did not speak English. Which is fine, I speak a bit of Spanish and Google Translate is a thing...But they would not even let us into the gated property until 12:30PM. They let us keep our bags in the security guard's bathroom (???) Which was appreciated but wandering around an unfamiliar place in 35°C after a four hour long shuttle ride was not exactly ideal. Once they let us in, we were able to find some chairs near the shared laundry area to sit and wait in until our room was ready.
Once our room was ready (a 1/2 earlier then the 2:00PM check-in - which was also very much appreciated) the lady demanded we pay cash for the remaining amount. She also did not speak any English so that conversation was a little frustrating as it has already been agreed that the card would be charged and I didn't have any cash on me at the time. She said that the remaining $100.00 USD was to small of an amount to put through the machine (???)
The room was disappointing to say the least. Notice how they don't have many pictures of the rooms and only of the pool area...There were ants EVERYWHERE. The toilet was rusting/worn with dirt and old stains, fixtures falling off the walls, and no toiletries (shampoo or soap)....We stayed in the standard room so our expectations weren't high.

The pool was great. Wish the jets and heat on hot tub would have been working.
The location to main street was decent. Definitely needed a car though.
The security and facilities team were excellent. Property very clean.
The main bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress really needs to be replaced.

The location was good, and the pool was nice
The apartment it self felt old, dirty and run down! The shower got the whole bathroom wet, bed creaked every time you moved, and kitchen just didn’t feel clean enough to cook on

Quite and safe inside. Clean gardens, pool and apartment. Good for families with children.
No villa just a apartment with kitchen, room and toilet.
The contact with the manager is difficult, she answer few hours later.

Parking inside of the condo is depending of who comes first. If you have your place inside and go, probably when you come back, you need to parking outside, they have camera, but the surrounding areas looks quite insecure. You won't go there at night.
Don't go to this place it's totally disappointing. And they don't go to give you back your money if you decide to go.

The security, the pool and proximity to Coco Beach.
The mattress in the bedroom is unbearable, it should be changed, the springs pop o yo your back.
The small electric grill hasn’t been cleaned in a while, there was bacon inside.

Location. Kids loved the pool and the wildlife around. Area well maintained and looked after.
Beds were super uncomfortable. Bad smell in the toilet area (clearly some plumbing issues with draining) and some strong air freshener used to cover it. All of the above is relevant to our apartment only as there is different land lords letting.

This place is a bargain gem! Little place, awesome pool, walk to the beach, people really friendly.

Lovely pool, quiet setting, great restaurant nearby, loved having hot water, reasonable kitchen, comfortable bed, needed a better couch. Apartment was good but expected a bit of an outside space. We were on the second floor which was unexpected but okay. There was only a narrow walkway space that four condos shared. Chairs available but not much space and not an inviting place to sit.
Property expected a cash payment which was okay but was not comfortable with a person showing up at my door with no identification asking for the money we owed and once we paid the money he did not have a paper receipt available for us showing we paid. He said we could get an electronic receipt which was requested but never received.

the unit we rented was run down, dark, old mattress, dripping faucets, broken doors that wouldn’t shut, and trees that drop liquid on our rental car. stains. they didn’t warn us . and, the parking is secure if you can get one of the 20 spots available for 100 units.

- spacious apartment with a kitchen, couch and dinner table
- WiFi was good
- AC in both rooms
- furniture is a little dated, but everything works and is well maintained
- bed is not super comfortable
- location is bit further off than I thought.

The condo we used was nice and comfortable. We liked the proximity to the pool. Sleeping was easy as the rooms were very quiet and the wildlife wasn't too loud (we had howler monkeys one morning) :-)
the only thing we didn't like was the fact that the condos were not as close to the beach as we thought. We had to walk down a fairly busy street with no sidewalks, then turn and walk down a less busy street without sidewalks, in order to get to the water. Once there, it was beautiful.

Carol was very helpful when we arrived. At first, we weren't sure if we were in the right place but WAZE said we were. Carol (in security) took us to our room and gave us the keys. This room was on the second floor and only a staircase to get to it. Not bad, but I have trouble with my knees and would have preferred a ground floor room. My fault for not checking. Otherwise, it was a nice, comfortable room
I mentioned, above that I wish it had been a ground floor room but, again, that was my error in not checking! :-)

Def would recommend a car to the location as it can get sketchy at night. With a car, you are super close to all the restaurants and the beach,
Nothing like the photos. The couch is a twin bed and the house is extremely old and dirty. Roaches were definitely present.

The common area pool facilities were very nice. Security was excellent. It was an easy walk to the beach and an easy walk to the business district.
It wasn’t made clear on Booking.com that our apartment was privately owned and one of many condos in the CocoMarindo Resort. The one we rented seemed to be the only one without a private terrace and was tucked into the far corner of the rectangle of apartments. It was sparsely supplied with plastic dishes and few towels. The patio doors off the bedroom looked onto abandoned property and would have been insecure had we opened the doors. The pictures on the site were very misleading. All other tenants were snowbirds who owned or rented their condos long term and were lovely people.

The gardens and pool were beautiful
The entire complex is filled with extremely rude French people. The mattress on the bed was horrible. I would never pay that amount for staying there ever again.

Manager glared at us, hot tub was cold, no lounge furniture., I picked this facility because I needed a hot tub/spa ,Sat in a chair was asked to get out of it. lights did not work in the room. Cleaning items were all over the room buckets brooms etc. microwave was not plugged in
nowhere to plug it in. it had a horrible ugly chain-link fence with huge big circles a Bob wire around the top making it feel like you were in a prison camp, there was a ripped fence screening on it, broken down hovel of a shack and I site next-door. it was a high crime area filthy crowded streets huge big low class drinking places just hideous very upsetting.
