The house was perfectly centralized to the town and the beach. It was the Goldie locks perfect fit for us. Huge yard I wish we could have better taken advantage of. Visited family in Tom’s Cove and it was around the corner. It was incredibly clean when we got there, huge bonus points for us. Having a washer and drier was a life saver. Glad we chose this cute little house. There wasn’t a house number so it did make it hard to find, as we arrived at night. There was the property rental sign in the yard that told us we were in the right spot.

It was just the right size for us, like the updates in the bathroom and the kitchen. I realize you tried to keep it to the original house but I think some more updates would be nice. The location was great to get to everything. We had trouble getting the keys to work in the locks and had to travel back to the office to get assistance with this because we didn't want to break the key off. Updated locks would be great. The floors needed swept when we arrived, we could feel and see dirt on them when we walked around. The fridge smelled really bad of fish, I understand alot of fishing happens on the island, but maybe a small fridge for just fish. We went to use the microwave and it looked like grass or something in it. I don't like to complain or let a bad review but I feel I needed to address these issues. These are just things you don't want to deal with on vacation. We probably won't book again.

Very clean, cute place to stay. Nice big yard, you can walk to the park and the dock from this location. Everything worked in the house, didn't even have to contact anyone about anything. Made lots of family memories.

This was our 40th Anniversary and we decided to go to Chincoteague Island. It was a last min decision, and found this property was in the location we desired. It is an older home, but was very clean and a nice kitchen and bath. Very comfortable reclining couch after a day of exploring. The mattress on the bed is a little uncomfortable. But overall, we would rent this house again. Loved the big corner lot, dog friendly and walking distance to the Channel. We loved the town and ate seafood every night! Took a boat tour and got amazing pictures of ponies in front of the light house. Just a perfect vacation! Would love to come back to Beck's Corner!! Thank you Debbie

We enjoyed our stay at Beck’s corner. It was a good location for us as it was within walking distance to where our relatives were staying. I like that it is pet friendly. The place could use a little updating but over all it was clean and comfortable.

Everything was perfect. We really enjoyed the location, the size, the new kitchen, just everything. Kids really want to go back, like yesterday. Would definitely look into staying here again.

Me, my partner, and our dog enjoyed a long weekend at Beck’s Corner. The large yard was especially nice for our dog, Albus, but unfortunately the yard had random patches of grass with very sharp burrs in it. These burrs are hard to see in the grass until you step on them, and they are incredibly sharp and painful - something to note if you have dogs or children. Be prepared to bring an internet puck or use your phone’s hot spot if you want to use the internet - we were surprised to find the cottage did not have Wifi until we read one of the reviews after arrival. However, the cottage has a nice TV with several channels. Besides the burrs and lack of Wifi, Beck’s Corner was a wonderful and comfortable place to stay. We would definitely stay again!

This is a great spot! We enjoyed the location: quiet, private, and a short walk from Veteran's Park. The house is small and comfortable, enough room for a family of 4. Will book again.

Easy to find and great experience

Overall, Beck's Corner was worth the price and we'd probably stay again. The location was out of the way and a bit of a drive to the downtown or the beach but makes up for it with a large lot and very quiet evenings. We probably should have read the description better but the lack of wi-fi was a bit of a surprise, as were cobwebs in the bedroom. The only other minor improvement would be some extra lighting in the bathroom, the shower is very dark. Again, worth the price and no major issues at all.

Then we kept fishing and hooked onto another shark and fought it with the captain for 2 1/2 hours. It broke the line. The beach was awsome with 10 waves. We will go again next year. The ponies were amazing..

Great place to stay for a quick trip to Chincoteague for me and my dog! Quick access to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Becky's Place is the perfect size for a small family. The kitchen has been nicely updated and the yard is huge with some visiting wildlife in the early morning and evening. My stay included the best beach days ever!

The house is easy to find, and the walkway with front door beautiful. The Side of house is practical easy to use....however could use a outdoor light for coming into property. The tree line/wetlands boundary......lovely to see all the Deer!

We rented Capt Pete's charter fishing and Capt. Jed and First Mate, Dick, gave us an amazing 4 hour fishing experience. The property and location were perfect and the washer and dryer a plus. Be mindful bringing your pooch, the island does not have a lot of dog friendly locations. Find Hallie Whealton Smith Dr. in the beginning of the trip. The grass all over the area has burrs that get stuck to their paws or your feet in flip flops. Deb, the Manager, answered the phone every call and was friendly and helpful throughout. Easy in/out process. Highly recommend Back's Corner and Eastern Shores.

The neighborhood is quiet and serene. The furnishing were reasonable. A few items that would be useful include racks or hooks in the bathroom in order to hang towels, and fixing the latch to the bathroom door. A clothes line outdoors for hanging beach towels would be helpful as well. All in all we were glad that we stayed at Beck's Corner.

The property is not very big but was just big enough for my family of 4. The house was a little dated and had just enough dishes to make meals. There is a picnic bench but no grill which would have been nice. My only complaint was that the outside light did not work on the side of the house and there were several bulbs blown out within the house. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Old but very neat property with convenient location. It has everything you need to spend a week or two at Chincoteague island. Debbie is very nice and experienced manager that solves any issues in no time.

This property was a great size for us traveling as a couple with one child and a dog. We appreciate its well-maintained historic feel, its large property where our dog could fetch the frisbee, and that it’s just a two-minute stroll to a bayside playground. We also appreciated the outdoor hose for washing off from the beach and the sunny front “mudroom” with washer and dryer. The kitchen had everything we needed for take-out dinners and simple breakfasts and lunches. Thank you!
