The staff are absolutely amazing and attentive. The room was spacious and bathroom was very clean! The room had everything we needed, including an iron and complimentary toiletries. The care taken into ensuring that their guests have everything on hand is just beyond lovely.
I could go on about how amazing this property is, but you have to come see it for yourself. Just a little high point was the food - we ordered the kingklip and the lamb shank. The kingklip was better than any other restaurant we’ve eaten at and the lamb was falling off the bone - a 10/10 for both!

The staff was friendly and responsive when spoke to. The bed was comfortable and the room was neat.
There was a stain on the inner flat sheet was a bit dirty.

Breakfast was outstanding and the room was very pretty, we were able to sit and relax and chat way after breakfast.

The breakfast is amazing, the room also are so worth it.
They don’t give bath equipments everyday, I mean I run out of shower gel and I thought it will be replace the following day but it wasn’t.

This was a little slice of heaven! The thatched cottages and beautiful setting were a welcome retreat as we stayed a few nights for a wedding at a nearby venue. The staff were so accommodating, booking massages for us at a nearby spa and even taking us there in the Monchique branded shuttle bus. The on-site restaurant is a wonderfully convenient amenity, I couldn’t recommend this place more!

That the door of our room is not secure even when it is locked. The top latch is not helping at all and the bottom one is also not in a good condition.

the rooms are big spacious and ideal for good vacation also all needs where in the rooms the service was good they assisted to put up braaistand and make sure we where ok .

Staff were excellent. Trust and Mary offered a high standard of service. The home cooked meals were very well prepared and the portions were of a good size. Rooms are large and well laid out.

Location was perfect for us. We attended a wedding at venue next door. We used Monchique’s shuttle service. Accommodation was perfect and breakfast as well. We will recommend Monchique to friends and family.
There was nothing that we did not like! We were totally satisfied with the accommodation, reception, facilities and the friendliness of the staff. Monchique met our expectations in full. Our unit was clean and the staff very helpful as well. We used the shuttle service as well and that was very convenient.
