Beautiful grounds , stunning backdrop of nature
Spacious rooms
The rooms are tired and old
You can tell that once upon a time they were grand and luxe but today they are far from that.
Water taps are hard to use… you have to turn them for ages to open and close
Rooms need to be aired more - some have an old stale smell
We were there for a wedding and arrive 2hrs before checkin , we asked if room was by any chance ready , we were told no. We then heard that early check in was R200 extra, we asked if we can do this and all of a sudden our room was available…. Why they just didn’t say it first time is beyond me??? Would have saved us precious time!

It's not a good place to relax. As function venue there are many rowdy guest who will likely keep you up at night

The room was beyond beautiful. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast spread was too limited and a little disappointing.

The room was heated on our arrival which was great as it was a very cold night. The room was cozy and clean. The bathroom area was great, I especially enjoyed the bath tub.
There were no slippers or robes provided, not sure if this is offered with the better room option but it would have been nice to be included. It would have been great if there was hot chocolate sachets with the tea and coffee.

1. I asked for special request and they could not meet it. For a place that holds events how can you not have one balloon?
2. The breakfast was cold and I had to ask for more bread. There were no pancakes for children. Plus had to wait in a long queue for eggs
3. Had to juggle with the taps in the bathroom to find the right temperature of water
4. The in room dining dinner pasta was terrible.
5. Not a safe place for toddlers. The playground is far away and on a hill and people who are not staying at the resort were there drinking

Was a very pleasant stay. Liked the location and cleanliness. Views of the countryside were perfect.
Room could be warmer. The oil heater was not sufficient to heat the room. Breakfast waiters need to be more attentive. My table had no cutlery and the breadbasket was not replenished until asked.

All the venues on the property were close to each other. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
The bathroom facilities need to be updated. Shower and tiles etc needs an upgrade.

The rooms are so beautiful and I liked the fact that they still keep the rooms warm even during load shedding.
I guess the outside walls need renovating.

The unit we stayed in was absolutely beautiful.
Rooms were nice and clean.
Breakfast was so delicious and the staff all round was super friendly and welcoming.

The rooms were lovely and spacious. Very comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant for dinner was divine.
no carts to help transfer luggage to the rooms. This didn’t help as the ground is mainly stones. the location is also a bit far so getting Ubers at night can be difficult.

The property is very well maintained. Despite the floods that almost destroyed the property, the lawn, trees, pools and buildings are still intact.
Our dinner was cold and the meat ( sirloin and ribs) was not tender.
The beds and pillows were also not comfortable.

Avianto, is a beautiful hotel built like a small Tuscan village. Beautiful gardens. The room was well equipped and spacious.
