clean hotel near seafront fine for one night stopover

Everything you need, decent size room, lovely host.
Could do with a lick of paint and modernising, parking is a nightmare hotel doesn’t actually have its own parking it’s just first come first served at the side of the road.

Such a great site for our one night stay.
For older folk the stairs could be a bit tight-no lift, but the owner very helpful in getting bags up and down.

Nigel was very helpful and gave us good information about what to do in the local area. Good coffee and tea making facilities. Lovely location on the Hoe and close to the Barbican

Location was perfect for walking the dog and in easy reach of the hoe and Plymouth Waterfront. Although it was a room only rate porridge pots was provided in the room along with tea and coffee.
The hanging rail in room was not strong enough.

such a lovely place and will definitely keep it in mind for future trips to Plymouth. the location was perfect. the owner was a pleasure to meet and the room was ideal.

The room was okay but not what had been booked. I requested a double and got a triple with singled beds
The room I had been moved to was on the ground floor and as next to a pub made me feel uncomfortable hearing people directly outside talking loud/swearing. I appreciate that is not the hosts fault but not very comforting for a single woman. Also understood there was parking onsite but was advised to go out at 9.00pm to pay for the meter parking overnight. Did not wish to go out at 9.00 at night and as meters were broken was very worried I would receive a parking ticket so left at 7.15 to avoid even though I did not need to leave until 08.30. Then realised in the morning in book in room that host had parking permits - this was not offered as an option!!

It was in a good location with easy access to shops and restaurants. Plenty of hot water for the shower and a comfy bed. You have access to limited parking which is on the street.
