We loved our stay at Platinum Lodge. Trish welcomed us with a big smile and home baked muffins. Continental breakfast was very generous and delicious. The room was big and very comfortable with a beautiful view and private garden. The decoration with local pottery made the place very homely.

It was a lovely comfortable, clean and luxurious studio with a wonderful view of the Mt. Taranaki. The continental breakfast was delicious!

What a gem of a place. Super quiet location with views of Taranaki (if he decides to show himself). Very private units, extremely nice hosts and Smokey the cat was a bonus.

Warm night and no aconditioning, a fan would have helped.

We had an excellent experience in Platinum lodge ! It is one of the most quite, peaceful, nice and comfortable places we have stayed in. The owner is extreemly nice, we were welcomed with 2 hot maffines for our 5 o'clock coffee and when asked, she kindly offered us to wash our laundary using her washing machine. We highly recomnend staying at Platinum lodge! Ayelet Reshef, Israel

We loved everything!

This place. Was amazing, loved the fresh baked cookies on arrival, the private location the view of the mountain and the lovely garden and water falls. Just beautiful.

Wet area type shower was a little tricky!

Beautiful, relaxing environment with attention to detail

Clean, modern rooms, with a spacious bathroom.

The shower in the bathroom was not enclosed, but the floor dried quickly.

Excellent quiet property with new, top-tier fittings and fixures, friendly and helpful host, very comfortable beds, well equipped coffee/tea making facilities, room cleaned daily, continental breakfast stocked daily in the fridge in the room - allowed us to eat at leisure at our own time! Great view of Mt Taranki from the room (courtesty - clouds permitting, see attached pic). 6 min drive to Stratford town, 35 min drive to New Plymouth.

Statford is a little out of the way but if you are local or on the way through to somewhere else, I would not hesitate to stay again. Garden and sculptures were beautiful. Didn't get to try the Day Spa facilities but the stay was awesome anyway. Great to have the Day Spa there and look forward to using them in the future.
