Stove didnt work and oven have issue. Cooking is an issue.

The property was not what was advertised on booking.com. We booked a two bedroom luxury apartment and got a one bedroom very very dirty ( as you can see the pics) and the added single beds into the open area next to the kitchen! This apartment was very dirty and the property owners misrepresented the facilities.

the bathroom was tiny, no place to hang the towels or put anything down, poor waterstream. only one plug in the whole place worked, difficult to load the batteries of all the telephones. we told the management but the technicians never showed up. the redeptionists and all the staff were very infriendly, when asked to call a taxi for us they ordered a guy with a private car who was overpriced, as we found out. I am sure they get a percentage od the fare …. when we left the staff didn’t even look at us and say good bye

Room not ready at arrival

We definitely embrace the location, it’s really convenient. Our group was 3 adults and even though we didn’t get the same apartment than in the promotion photos, the apartment was good size for us. Our flat didn’t have such open space next to the kitchen. Apartment was quite clean and shower worked ok. The master bedroom was very quiet, the other bedroom had more noise from the street but we managed with it.

Our stove didn’t work at all and, despite of our request from the hotel reception, nothing happened in order to fix it. There were hardly any hooks for towels, clothes etc. in any room.

Location is superb but first day they took security deposit 50 pound till today they did not transfer to my travel card

Staff not helping

Staff were polite and very helpful when we were placed in accommodation not booked. We were relocated immediately to our booked flat.

There was no remote control for one of the televisions; but staff sorted it by sending maintenance personnel .

Location was great. Shower pressure was good Bed sheets where clean.

.The stove top barely works - no actual heat in the elements. So unusable. Tho there are really no utensils or crockery. No teatowels or detergent. Beds need replacing. Whole place needs a good clean. We kept finding rubbish from previous people. Ended up cleaning part of the floors as they where sticky

Location was great

Poor standard for the price we paid. Kitchen and bathroom was old and tired, TV did not work and beds were inadequate and uncomfortable.

The location was great right next to paddington station so was easy to get to. We was on the top floor so there was a few flights of stairs to walk up with no lift. It was easy to get the keys from reception and drop them off.

There was alot of stairs to go up with no lift. this may be a problem with people who are unable to walk up alot of stairs. I dont believe they had a lift other than that everything was excellent with our stay.

The management of the apartment and related hotel did not answer any emails sent either before or after my stay - either when addressed directly to them or through booking.com. When I arrived, the reception could not find my reservation and so it took over 20 minutes to check me in. Internet was inadequate for my needs and not corrected despite three separate visits to the reception and a specific request to confirm good quality internet when booking the property. Reception promised to have IT address the internet issue - I was forced to connect to the free wifi from the Indigo hotel and not something onsite at 12 London st apartments - but this never happened. This was a real problem because I needed to use Zoom to teach while at the premises, and as a result of the poor internet, my sound was choppy and I was actually dropped from the course I was teaching more than once. I had to use phone dial in to try an compensate as a result, and keep my camera turned off, which was very unprofessional and damaging to my reputation as a consultant. I approached the hotel staff on this and other issues on two separate occasions in person after checking out, and also wrote e-mails and phoned to explain my concerns after returning to Canada, but despite promises to refund part of my stay as compensation for the issues I experiences, nothing was done. In fact, to add insult to injury, I was charged twice for my stay - once having prepaid through booking.com, and then upon check out directly to the credit card I had left as a deposit. In addition, there was no coffee machine as indicated in the property description, when housekeeping came they did not bring toilet paper, and the washing machine leaked. I eventually got a friend to go to the reception to have them speak with me on a personal phone, and was provided with a different e-mail address to write to - however, I have not even received a response to that. I am dissatisfied.

Being able to accommodate a family of four in one unit, along with proximity to Paddington Station were the biggest plus features, as we were catching the Heathrow Express the next morning. The kitchen was useful and there are two convenience stores on the same block, so was easy to get some breakfast items so we didn't have to worry about getting/having breakfast prior to our morning departure.

The stairs (no lift)! Of course, we were informed on the property listing prior to booking that there was no lift, but doesn't change not liking having to grapple with 4 big bags up/down the stairs. The "double" bed was also a bit on the small size, but we managed. The pluses definitely outweighed the minuses.

The apartment has not been cleaned on regular basis as as stated in the website

Good location, easy check in

The place did not match the pictures one bit. It was extremely cold in the apartment with no heating, the bedsheets had brown stuff on them. The beds in the living room were not needed and not what I booked for. No decoration or atmosphere like the picture suggests.

Stairwell was dirty. Apartment not as expected. No/little storage for clothes. Furniture broken. Not enough crockery or cutlery for a family. One wine glass had salt resin in bottom. Not clean. Kitchen area in poor condition. No bed side lamp for twin beds. We asked reception for more crockery, cutlery and kitchen towel, but never received. Shower tray broken. Soap holder broken and fell into hands of my young daughter. Reception didn’t inform us about breakfast options and other facilities that could be used.

Air Conditioning was leaking in living room ( not to bothered)I just put towel on floor and let the receptionist aware before check out x The load ventilation noise that comes on ever 10mins from the hotel next door which was a little distributive. Xx
