good location

The furniture and room switches were dated, or shonky; definitely not in line with a 5 star hotel. Room was on the fifth floor which could only be reached by a separate staircase that was smelly and creaky. Few hidden charges at check out that weren’t clarified at time of booking. For price point, I would stay elsewhere next time.

great location in South Kensington but quiet. a cosy small hotel with a moody classy design vibe. staff was very courteous and helpful. it’s lovely they upgraded us to a bigger room with a separate level lounge space.

the bathroom is small and some of the hardware is getting a bit tired so probably needs replacing.

The bar closed at 11 and no designated place to smoke or vape. For a longer stay i would not choose this place.

The staff, most especially the concierge team and restaurant manager, were beyond exceptional.

the location, breakfast, the rooms are pretty and clean

the a/c in the room was broken and the outside temperature was 30C, so it was very difficult to sleep. the hotel doesn’t have a technician on site and therefore it was only possible to fix it next day.

Beautiful hotel in historic building, nice neighborhood near V&A museum

AC didn’t work in our room and since it was on the last floor the room was very hot. We complained and at the end on the second night we were moved to another room where AC was working but was very loud. Overall, not something I would expect in a GBP400/night hotel.

Excellent location. Comfortable bed and friendly staff.

Some TLC needed with fixtures and fittings - door handle broke off when we tried to exit our room! Also no hot water for bath on evening. Breakfast OK but continental items arrived with hot cooked breakfast rather than before, which wasn’t ideal.

All the little touches! From arriving to leaving this hotel they think of all the little things! Attention to detail is second to non!

It would be nice if there was an outdoor area but recognise this is probably out of the hotels remit......this certainly would not stop me re-booking again!

the dark room. dated bathroom black of area to get make up ready. lack of full length mirror. control panels for the lights that cannot be dimmed leaving the room too bright to sleep. lack of pillows.

Room ceiling soundproofing . AC/Heater fan noise . Coffee stains on the beautiful carpet . In general the maintenance should be on a par with beautiful interior .

We had to wait for the breakfast for 70' which is not at all normal
