We arrived in the dark, a bit late, but Eleni was very flexible, kind and helpful so we still got a full dinner in the closest taverna. For next breakfast she served big amounts of different meals, more than what you'd expect. The yard, the pool, the house is nice and kind of a traditional-romantic feeling. We liked the cats as well, like all around Cyprus. But here there was a special orange-brown tiger style cat that my little daughter wanted to take home. Since that she is missing her "Tigru" :) The area is nice and I think safe as well. Limassol ca. 20 minutes by car.

Yes we had some issues but I think it's more up to us hence we usually choose "modern" accomodations. But if anyone else has more routine with traditional places, will get along with it well. The kitchen should be better equipped for sure. There was hot water only in the shower. There are some electric plugs out from the wall, two lamps had electric-contact issues. Ok, this is not a drama, actually we didn't like mainly two things: one is that all the rooms are quite dark in the morning, there is not enough healthy light to start your good day. Unfortunately the photos here don't show this, they are also mixed so you can't really see where you will get to finally. The second problem is the noise. We got the ground floor rooms and the top is a traditional ceiling made from wood. Therefore you are constantly disturbed by all the movements coming from the upstairs neighbours. All movements... and some voices. Okay you can say let's find it rather as an inspiration, but we had our children with so I was worried quite well you can imagine. Unfortunately we couldn't really rest. Again, I think this accomodation suits best to those, who arrive for longer time, who buy in the supermarket all what needed, and who enjoy many time at the pool, reading, wine, chill out. But if you are similar to us - we drive away every day to discover all the world and we only need an accomodation for evening-night that provides the same comfort like our modern home - than it's not for you.

Great place for family holidays if you have a car. Clean and nice swimming pool, big apartments, nice garden to have breakfast or dinner. Nearby is a nice taverna, where you can try local meze. Food is good, but for 10 people 5 meze is enough :)

Air conditioning is an extra charge.

The apartment is located in a small and very calm Cypriot village that is 5 mins from the beach and approximately 15-20 mins from Limassol by car. Therefore, you get to enjoy the quiet village life while being close to touristic sites/ activities. The owners (=staff) are extraordinarily friendly and helpful with any matters. The pool is beautiful and invites guests to relax on lazy vacation days. Since there are few rooms in total, the facilities are never overcrowded and it feels very private. All in all, we had a very relaxing and pleasant stay at the Guesthouse and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

The kitchen could be a little more equipped and it would be nice if there were some basics like olive oil and maybe spices because it is always a waste to buy those for short stays. This is more of a suggestion though and not a real problem.

The owner was very friendly and helpful and the always willing to help and accommodate your requests, very authentic cottage and courtyard is beautiful

The bed linen would be better is all white and matching and extra towels when you are there for a week, washing machine provided so we did use it but a change would have been nice

A lovely stay at Meleni Cottage Houses. This is the second time we've stayed here as we love the location and the rooms are very comfortable. You can request a breakfast, which is always very good. There's also the option to pre-book dinner. We did this one evening and everything was excellent. Really friendly hosts, lovely rooms and a beautiful part of Cyprus. Handy location too as the village is only a short drive from Limassol.

Nice and cameral place and very kind owners. Beautifull garden with many plants around. The swimming pool was very cozy and clean. Apartament met our expectation and was well equipped. Take care of "our" cat! :) with regards, Asia, Ania, Marcin and Paweł.

I have visited ~10 accomodations in Cyprus and it is first one where I felt not welcomed. For check-in owner is starting to request extra money. At first I missed huge city tax - 10 € a day (for 5 person). Had voucher where air-condition was included but owner strongly requested 12 € a day for air-conditioner. Pictures are photoshopped and wrong. Had 2 beedroom appartment, but found that only WC picture was right. Paid for 5 person, but rooms are not for 5 - a fifth person must sleep in front of the kitchen (look picture). Bedrooms are too small to fix 5-th bed and both beds are not extra large like described - is 140cm. Generally nice house, but taking account all problems and extra costs, then this place is way to expensive.

I have had a prepaid stay. When I came to Meleni Cottage House with all my family the host told me that I have to pay for every conditioner in every room 4 euros a day, so for my prepaid stay it was additional unexpected 90 euros. Nice surprise for guests! The apartment requires renovation, the kitchen is old and uncomfortable, the shower is tiny and it was dirty. It is a pity I have lost pictures of broken lamps and a broken kettle, dirt in the shower. The entering room/dining room was messy when we had arrived. If I would not had a prepaid nonrefundable stay, I would leave the apartment the same day for other airbnb options in the city. All photos of the rooms are photoshopped and the apartment doesn’t look stylish and cosy in the reality, everything is abandoned there. It is much better to stay in an new modern apartment with a swimming pool for the same money in the city center. I would really like to have my money for the conditioner back.

nothing I had to pay for the firewood. The dishwashing water was cold.

Smoke did not leave the fireplace, all the smoke was in the apartment, because of this I had to sleep with the windows open.

Perfect location close to the beaches (by car) but far enough to avoid the mass sunseekers. And ofcourse a lovely and friendly couple that hosts the cottages.
