This is the coolest place on the Gili Islands and Lombok! The manager Roan has outstanding passion and patience for customers, and his complete team spreads this. Our special thanks to dive masters Sheerin and Ari, we felt very comfortable and safe. It is a unique place, food, music, and diving. Fantastic location right on the beach with some incredible sunsets. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is super friendly and helped us arrange a boat from Gili Air to Gili Meno. The bar is also great with good food and breakfast was good too

Fantastic property, great staff. Absolutely top-notch Scuba diving operation as well. We super glad we chose to stay here for three full nights. The adjacent restaurant had such good food (and espresso!) that we kept going back there for each meal as well. For the level of luxury and stellar service, was priced quite reasonably.

Only “complaint” is that the food/drink service at adjoining restaurant is sometimes a little slow. (Staff are attentive but food and coffee takes quite a long time.) But honestly, this is pretty typical for the area. The high quality makes it worth the wait most of the time.

Amazing location by the shore. Pool is great and the restaurant has good food and live music some evenings. And of course the inhouse diving center. What more can you ask for? i love that they provide water refill! Less plastic waste.

There could be more places where to hang clothes in the room. Also it would be nice if breakfast would have one vegan option.

Loud music day and evening. Boats noise. It is not the place for full relax. But if you are diver it is ok. The water in the see is much more clear at Meno or Trawangan.

Blue Marlin Air is located in a lovely, quiet part of Gili Island. We love staying there for it's comfortable rooms, beautiful pool area and very chilled atmosphere. It is essentially a diving resort which seems very popular, but even as non-divers we feel that the diving activities are not intrusive because of the space and facilities Blue Marlin has. The resort is also beside an excellent restaurant called PJs which serves delicious food from breakfast to dinner.

The breakfast took a long time to come out and sometimes one of us would have finished before the others food arrived. they charged an additional card fee on top of the booking.com price.

beautiful property exactly as advertised. the staff are lovely, helpful and keep the property looking great. the food is really good too and not far from other places by foot or bicycle. the diving centre is fantastic and I completed my advanced open water course here. beautiful dive sites and brilliant instructors. shout out to Fraser! would recommend:)

• Super clean, spacious and well-maintained room, extremely comfortable bed, nice bathroom, very charming inner garden of the hotel, clean pool and common area. • Great bar/pub just just next door, where breakfast is surved - and it is THE BEST breakfast we had in Bali/Gili. • The hotel is beach-front, the diving centre gives free snorkeling equipment to its guests and the reef in front of Blue Marlin is a very good one! • The staff are super friendly, chatty and add a great island vibe to the place! • Location - very quiet and serene location, 5 mins by bike to everywhere (the whole island is 1 x 1.5 km) BM is at the north coast of Gili Air, the good restaurants and beach stretches are at the west coast (Sunset beach), the good snorkeling spots are at the east coast (Sunrise beach), BM is in the middle.

The beach stretch right in front is a good one, but not the best on the island. (It is in front of Mowie's bar). If you want to stay only in the hotel and sunbathe just in front, there could be better options. However, Blue Marlin is a top pick and I'd love to go back there!

Very comfortable stay. Big comfortable bed, huge bathroom, quiet Aircon, lovely pool. Also very convenient for diving lessons. Nice food.

Personel. When making the reservation, I indicated in the requests that I needed to get an invoice with my company's details because it was a payment made by my company. Upon arrival I received an invoice but only with my name, no company details. The receptionist at first did not understand my request, then said that she did not know how to do it and that it was impossible. Besides, I rate the value for money of this hotel very low, the receptionist was often absent and when she was, she was unpleasant, and the wifi worked poorly.

The bed is comfortable and the diving club looks nice even though we did not dive

The down part of the pool was dirty and never cleaned during my stay. The toilet had a leak. I would not stay there if you do not come here to dive. Otherwise I definitely would. The club and the people are nice !

We were there for the 3 days of dive certification so staying here was very convenient considering the amount of time we would be in the pool or out on a boat; it was great not having to go far to get the gear before heading out on the boat each day. While the rooms are pretty basic, they are very bright, airy, and incredibly clean. We were not expecting the rooms to be this nice for the price we were paying to be right on the beach with a room that had our own patio that walked right out to and overlooked the pool. While there is not technically a restaurant for the property, just next door is a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its menu is limited and mostly western dishes, and not cheap, but it is really tasty and very convenient with great music playing all day. You can order food from there and get it delivered to your room or by the pool if you want. They do their best to keep the property mor sustainable including providing shampoo, body wash, etc. in nice refillable containers and it smells good! They also provide free drinking water with a large refillable glass bottle in your room and you can go to the office to refill it as much as you want throughout the day and early evening. There is a basic small fridge in each room so you can also go get your own drinks and snacks to keep in there. The beach is beautiful and this stretch is quieter than some other areas of "sunset beach". This property doesn't rent bicycles but you can rent them just 2 doors down--we rented them for 3 days and were able to keep our bikes right near our patio. The staff can give you recommendations for the best local food!

My only complaint, tho. its a minor one, is the dive instructors all congregate at the front corner of the property by the pool and most of them just hang out there smoking. If they are going to smoke, I wish they would do it either in the back area where the equipment is getting washed down or out by the beach area/picnic tables instead of right there where the rest of us are also making use of the pool and loungers and have to smell all the cigarette smoke. Again, its such a minor thing but worth mentioning. The instructors are all so friendly and helpful. It would just be nice not to smell all the cigarette smoke.

I did my open water dive course here. the hotel is on the quieter northern part of the island right on the beach. rooms were clean, comfortable and cool. staff were lovely and the restaurant at the pool was great.

Right on the beach where one can snorkel and watch sunsets. Provide snorkeling gear for the length of your stay.

Pool is very dirty. Room needed some improvements - toilet door would not close, as knob was broken, shower knob was falling off constantly, fridge is super loud, impossible to sleep with it working. Staff is not very professional - singing at night very loudly thus disturbing our sleep, shouting at each other for 10 minutes next to our room early in the morning.

Beautiful pool and plants around it. Whole place was very clean, big bathroom, lots of towels. Great wifi, great beds.

Its a diving centre as well so be ready for lots of people in the front of the pool. It gets very busy there in the mornings. Did not affect us that much although it creats bit chaotic vibe.
