The house was clean, comfortable and tucked away in a beautiful and safe location. The grounds keeper, Herman, was fabulous. He gave us a tour of the grounds and educated us on the many species of animals, birds and plants of Monteverde (There are sloths on the grounds!)

The only thing I didn't like, was having to check-in and check-out at the hotel. It was slightly inconvenient, but not too bad.

Great and spacious house, has everything required to have a comfortable stay. The house is located in a secluded street, so the privacy and silence to have a well rested night is top. The kitchen is fully equipped!

The location of the house makes it hard to walk to the town center, therefore is highly recommended to come by car to the house. It is not a deal breaker at all, since one can be within 2-3mins in the center by car.

We liked pretty well everything about this property. If it was available we would have extended our stay. The house is amazingly clean! Open and roomy with a fully stocked kitchen. Herman the grounds keeper brought us fresh eggs in the morning! They also have a garden which has tons of herbs and little hot peppers (warning - they are quite hot but full of flavour). We walked around the property a number of times while we were there and saw more wildlife then we did in any of the parks in Monteverde. If we are ever in Monteverde again we will return to this house! There were only two of us so more space then we needed but it would be perfect for a family or a couple of couples.
