Stay every couple of months, they're like family.

I stayed in a double room for the night. The room was warm, comfortable and had a lovely ensuite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The staff went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.

It was a Sunday evening and we were the only guests. Member of staff waited for our arrival to let us in. All hotel facilities were closed. We were visiting family so didn't matter, but be aware bars etc are closed on a Sunday evening.

the lady who checked us in also served breakfast, she is the kindest and most welcoming host ! we turned up later than the last check in but we let her know in advance and she was very lenient and although very busy took the time to show us to our room. The bed was huge and very comfortable with loads of pillows, the bathroom new and very clean, didn’t have any problems with noise from the street below. breakfast was huge and delicious. The service was excellent. The Ugly Duckling food was excellent in taste, portion and value for money. Cooked breakfast was first rate. The room wasn't the best I have stayed in, but the bed was comfortable, and I had a good nights sleep.

We loved its central location, the food and most of all the staff. they couldn’t do enough for us and we’re so friendly.

It was a little noisy on the main road and there we’re road works outside but neither bothered us. The bed mattress was a little soft but we slept well.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The lad on front of house and serving in pub was great to deal with. He’s a credit to the place.

Not ideal that bathroom across hall, but it was clear when booked so met expectations.

We stayed at The Swan for 5 nights. The staff are wonderful, they make you feel realky welcome and can't do enough for you. The breakfast was superb, hot food on hot plates. We also ate at the Ugly Duckling Restaurant which is in the pub dining room, and the food was excellent. I would like to thank Chris, Karen, Charlie and Dan for making our stay so enjoyable, you are all wonderful people. Thanks too, to the rest of the staff.

Nothing not to like.

The staff were really friendly on check in unfortunately our room wasn't yet ready (we arrived before check in time as we had a wedding to go to). They allowed us to put our bags in the room and then made sure it was done on our return. The breakfast was served very pleasantly and was delicious.

Sat in the bar you could smell people smoking outside.

Very convenient location with parking. The staff and locals are very friendly. The room was adequate and value for money.
