located in the heart of Myeong-dong. newer hotel so everything was up to date. staff was very cordial

Of the 8 countries that we are staying in it is the only one that doesn’t have a free breakfast. never knew when maid service was going to be done. It was very unpredictable. however the maids did do a good job

The Location, the room, the bed, the view and the food recommendations from your concierge (Hyeon Bae). Our trip would not be the same without him. He greeted us with his smile the moment we stepped into the hotel lobby.

The extended stay process. Our initial booking was for 11 nights and we extended for another week as this was our first family holiday since the pandemic. Instead of charging the pre-auth previously taken from the card for the 11 nights, the front desk staff cancelled it and wanted to charge a revised amount to the card. He insisted that it was their procedure, eventhough I had asked him to charge the pre-auth. In the end, the cancelled amount was not refunded to the card and I had to make an international call to my bank to sort it out.

The hotel's location was superb – within walking distance of numerous excellent and affordable restaurants and in close proximity to many tourist attractions. I can highly recommend it to everyone! Also most famous companies HQ's are the immediate region.

The housekeeping could have been more attentive to what was lacking in the room such as floor mats, towels, and shampoo. These were not adequately replaced.

Perfect location in Myeongdong, all shops and the street food market closely accessible. Really comfortable and clean room, modern hotel.

For the price I would have wished for a bit more service. There are no room service options, no mini bar and when I asked if they could organize something for my boyfriends birthday there was nothing they could offer, not even for sale so I expected a bit more service in a 4 star hotel.

Location (near airport limo stop, subway, shopping, restaurants), cleanliness and layout of room, super comfortable beds, friendly and efficient staff.

Maybe change the bedroom slippers to something which is easier to slip on.

The front desk staff was amazing! Can’t say enough about them. They went above and beyond to help us with questions and answers, booking a taxi for the airport, recommendations and just friendly conversations. They made us feel so welcomed!

Aloft is now my favorite hotel to stay in Myongdong touristic area. The location couldn't be better with easy access to metro, close from airport shuttle bus and it has its own "elevator" parking. The rooms are small but cosy, it can get a bit clusterphobic sometimes. The welcoming popcorn is hard to forget!

Small rooms, the cafe/lounge is not operational all the time.

There was nothing that I did not like.

We asked for a quiet room on a high floor and that's what they gave us. The double bed was really comfortable and we slept well throughout. The buffet breakfast was pretty good with a few new dishes each day and the staff there were very helpful. The hotel's location was perfect for many of the main tourist attractions and the front desk staff were exceptional.

No one help you with luggage and smell of corridors is bad

Close to everything, except the airport. Subway system, bus stops, night walk, street food, shops, it was all within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and greeted you every time they saw you. Staff also spoke English which was very helpful (from USA). Staff also helped get a taxi back to the airport. I would definitely come back again.

Location was very good as many of the shops were located around the corner. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was average. Staffs could communicate in English very well. Check-in process was extremely fast.
