Sehr schöne Lage, unser Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und sauber. Betten sehr bequem. Sogar ein Adapter mit USB- C Anschluss war vorhanden, sehr praktisch! Die Besitzer sind sehr zuvorkommen, haben uns sogar zum nächstgelegenen Bahnhof gefahren am Abreisetag. Ich mochte ihren britischen Humor. Die Bushaltestelle ist gleich um die Ecke. Allerdings werden die Haltestellen nicht angekündigt, wir mussten via Maps schauen wo wir ungefähr aussteigen müssen.

Das Frühstück muss vorbestellt werden am Vorabend. Als ich dann am nächsten Tag mehr Hunger als geplant hatte und Rührei nachbestellte wurde ich gebeten, dies vorzubestellen. Ich verstehe es auf der einen Seite weil sie nur zu zweit sind, allerdings ist es dann auch schade zu viel vorzubestellen.

Property was absolutely amazing we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Bruce and Jeannette have an amazing home which is what I felt it was to us. They made us feel so welcome. Food was outstanding. All rooms are immaculate and so comfortable. This is more than a B&B it’s a home to home and would recommend this property 100% for anyone looking to stay in Alnwick

West Acre is a beautiful house in a wonderful setting. The gardens are delightful. The bedroom was charming and well appointed with everything for a comfortable stay. Bruce and Jeanette are warm, welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. Breakfast was excellent with great quality local produce. A special mention to Bruce. West Acre is situated a short walk from Alnwick and just a pleasant drive away from other Northumberland attractions. We look forward to returning to West Acre in the future Andrea & Peter

Bruce and Jeannette were fantastic hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and their knowledge of Alnwick and the surrounding area was invaluable to us. Breakfast was tremendous and the Easter gifts waiting for us on our table on Easter Sunday was a wonderful touch. I would recommend staying here to everyone. Our bedroom was spotless and spacious with great facilities.

Our room had two comfortable chairs, with footstools where most rooms only have one, without a footstool. My husband was especially taken by the carafe of sherry upon arrival, nice touch! The decoration is of exceptionally high quality and everywhere was very clean. Bruce and Jeanette were fantastic hosts who served up two absolutely fantastic breakfasts. And the property is within a very short, level walk to the town centre.

Amazing property and grounds with our room being particularly clean, comfortable and well furnished. The hosts are a lovely couple, providing an ideal degree of attentiveness, customer care and warmth - not to mention the great cooking.

Breakfast was beautiful and the location was perfect as it was only a short walk into Alnwick town centre.

Beautiful house with very well kept gardens. Greeted with delicious home made cake and coffee. Breakfast was superb every morning. Particularly liked that we were offered bottles of chilled water on our return back from a very hot day out. Bruce and Jeannette were great hosts, friendly and informative and great Sense of humour. Perfect stay!

we liked everything about the West Acer House, loved warm welcome on arrival, loved the warm and spacious bed room, the full English breakfast, the well maintained and manicured garden and lawns and the amazing hosts, Bruce and Jeanette. Faultless.

Bruce and Jeannette are the perfect hosts at West Acre House and go the extra mile to also make your stay perfect. Breakfast was excellent a menu to chose from and freshly cooked produce for all individual needs. Location of West Acre is in a perfect position on a quiet side road and an easy walk into lovely Alnwick village.

We could not fault anything regarding our stay.

Patrons, house and garden, location, room, comfort, breakfast all truly exceptional, thank you! Easy walking distance to good restaurants in town which hosts offered to book (and did!) Visit made even better by pleasant company of other guests in breakfast room. Will definitely go again - in cherry blossom time. Very highly recommended.

Excellent. The room was lovely, exceptionally clean. The choice was very varied for breakfast and food good. The setting of the property was lovely, set in a large garden, very well manicured and lots of seating, if the weather had been better. Jeanette & Bruce made us very welcome from start to end. We would definitely recommend.

West Acre House is a beautiful building, the bedroom we stayed in (Georgian twin) was immaculate and the owners, Bruce and Jeanette had really thought of every little detail. I stated when I booked that I am Vegan and they supplied a cooked breakfast and oat milk for my tea. Even the snacks on the tea tray were replaced with suitable options! Both owners are very knowledgeable about the area and will happily recommend where to eat or visit if asked. The proximity to Alnwick is very good and we walked into the town a couple of times when the weather was nice. Alnmouth is only a 7 minute drive away. They also have a large range of books including books for walking routes and OS maps of the area.
