Very dirty

We stayed with our 2 boys and had a great time at Kukuh House. Lovely spacious bedrooms with a nice terrace and open air kitchen. The swimming pool is a great advantage and the location too away from the traffic and yet only a short 10 min ride to Ubud town centre. A huge thank you to Dewi, Nyoman, Wayan and Alda for looking after us ! Highly recommended :)

Amazing room with great views, peaceful and very clean. The family who own it were so hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful location amd close to the centre by a 5 min scooter. The pool was perfect and we will definitely stay here again.

An amazing family place just outside the hustle and bustle of ubud centre. We were lucky enough to see the family prepare for Galungan celebrations, the family temple is at the centre of the gardens and it is beautiful. The family also has skillful artists whose many works are on display. The most special thing about this place is how welcoming and genuine the family are, they went beyond expectations for my birthday. I had a fabulous start to the day with a floating breakfast at the pool. When we came back in the afternoon they had decorated the room and came singing with a cake. It was so thoughtful. Thank you for everything, souk sama? ( sorry for my spelling)

Wonderful hosts! Artist family. Very nice garden with family temple. I had a little house of my own with private garden. Nice pool with a nice view.

The location is not so good. Youvhave to walk the very busy street (no pavements) to ger ti the nice walking area of Penestanan. Very many high steps in the garden to get to the pool.

- warm, friendly and helpful staffs - free daily breakfast delivered to our room - delicious and affordable food to order - pool with a nice view - beautiful garden - right next to the river and bamboos which made it really fresh and cool - with kitchen - free water gallon for drinking - safe and quiet neighborhood - laundry service was near Kukuh house - easy motorbike rental We overall had a great time in Bali and especially in Kukuh House, highly recommended!

I was reading a lot especially during the evening, I found it hard to concentrate on reading as it seemed that the room was too dim/ warm in color for me. I wish we had an option on using brighter/white light :) Overall a small issue but would have loved it if the room was not too warm in color during the evening.
