Check-in information and photos were excellent. Hosts spoke very good English. We were allowed early access (probably due to time of year). There was an excellent information booklet provided in French and English that came in very handy. Hosts provided a number of bottles of wine and champagne that can be bought on an honesty basis. The apartment size is very good and has a good layout. Blackout blinds worked well and the beds are very comfortable. Heating is effective and relatively easy to manage. Excellent location in a quiet street but still only 10 minutes slow walk to the town centre. 12 minutes walk to Avenue de Champagne. Parking is excellent, secure, undercover and free. The WiFi is fast, reliable and easy to access. Good quality towels and linen. Good iron and ironing board. We would stay here again when in Epernay.

Beware that you have to drag your luggage up three levels of dark staircases. Info booklet provided instructions to access games room but the room was not available. The tumble dryer was not working but the host offered to dry our washing but didn't respond to either repair the dryer or arrange a time to collect the washing. Booking.com stated that the property had a garden but there was no evidence that one existed. More details are needed on location of rubbish bins and recycling process. The kitchen doesn't have an oven so self catering is a bit of an issue unless you eat microwavable food. The fire place is noted as a feature but it only worked as an illumination producing no heat. One lamp bulb was not working but there were no replacement bulbs available. The sofa is a also a sofa bed. It may work as a bed but it has to be the worst sofa we have ever tried to sit upon. The TV is very good with the ability to select Broadcasts in the original language so we had some limited English TV shows but there is no streaming capability.

Beautifully designed. We loved the attention to detail. Handy for a quick walk into the centre of Epernay. Comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything we needed.

The apartment was amazing. We received clear instructions to get in, parking in the little courtyard is a big bonus. The apartment was clean and very spacious and the decor is really cool. You habe all needed appliances there and a supermarket is 5 minutes away on foot. To get to the center it is a 15 min walk, so not too far away. The hosts were very friendly and we loved our stay there. Would definitely recommend!

The water pressure for cold water in the shower isn’t great Not a problem for us, but good to know: our apartment was on the top floor, might be a problem to access with mobility issues.
