It was just as described and actually even better. The pictures don’t do the apartment and the location justice. Denise is a wonderful host with a beautiful and couple or family friendly apartment with the most amazing views and short distances to all the amazing sights and beaches in Barbados.

Denise ( the host) & her son were both very helpful & friendly. apartment nice & roomy with comfortable bed . delightful gardens too !

quite a distance from beach , shop & places to eat ( steep hill with 100 steps).approx 25 -30 mins walk . there’s a bus stop pretty close but they don’t go to beach unless you change .

The Apartment, Location and our Host-Denise were Amazing. The Apartment was very clean, comfortable and in a perfect location for Beaches, Shops and restaurants.Everything about our stay was superb. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday. We have decided to revisit next year and would love to stay here again. The views are definately Spectacular!!

The apartment is exactly as described and Denise is a very attentive host. Responsive before your arrival, during your stay, and even after your departure. She left fresh fruits and cold water in the fridge, ready at arrival, which was a great touch. The WiFi signal and speed were strong/fast and the shower pressure was amazing. Lots of additional amenities at your disposal: mosquito spray, sun tan lotion, beach towels, shampoo, etc. The garden was very well kept as well and you had a nice view.

For someone without a car, the location wasn't that great. Walking to the beach wasn't a problem, but returning was quite the hike, especially after nightfall. It is a safe area, but most people would probably still need a car / taxi. There were a lot of crawlies in the garden and house. I have a bit of a phobia for things with no legs, which made it difficult for me. I think it might be one of the plants in the garden because I didn't see those anywhere else in Bridgetown

Would have been ideal to be located closer to a beach, but if you have a car then it's no problem, as its 5 mins down the hill, otherwise 20 min walk. However, the view and sunsets made up for it.

Denise was a wonderful hostess. On our last day she made us breakfast of local fare including bakes and fried plantains. Overall it really was an exceptionally good stay. One of the best I have had in Barbados. The apartment is perfectly positioned to get the view of the ocean. The sunsets are incredible. The yard is filled with plants of all variety, all blooming. The apartment was clean and comfortable. I liked the duplex style which gave the space depth. Denise thought of everything a visitor might need, from the umbrella to the hairdryer, the condiments and the food items in the fridge which tided us over until a supermarket trip. There were novels and board games available. Our 9 year old child loved the cats and the monkeys (those were at a distance) and took great pleasure in playing in the yard. It was a peaceful, relaxing environment to unwind and for achieving our purpose for visiting Barbados. I will stay again in the future.

I can't think of anything I did not like.

The host was very nice, very approachable, very accommodating, very warm in her approach to us, and full of smiles. She even made us a delicious breakfast one morning. There were coffee, tea, water to welcome us, the accommodation itself is very fresh, clean, more than adequate kitchen utensils. The bed was comfortable and plenty of bed sheets and towels to change at one's leisure, washing machine and dryer were at our disposal. We watched the monkeys play in the garden for hours and with regards to the sea view?! BEAUTIFUL. We would love to stay again!

We had a lovely time at Alamanda apartment. The apartment is very nice, spacious and comfy - everything just like in the pictures. Denise is really kind superhost. The cake she baked for us was delicious! The location is good - you can easily walk to a lovely and quiet Paradise beach, supermarket, or a bus stop. However, we would recommend to rent a car to explore this area more easily. We fully recommend to stay at Denise’s and thank her again to have such a pleasant stay in St.James - Barbados.

it was spotless, pretty and comfortable with beautiful gardens and a fantastic sea view.

we didn’t dislike anything about the property. The weather was very wet and our luggage never arrived which rather spoiled our stay.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The host is super friendly and helped us rent a car to explore the island. The view from the apartment and garden is gorgeous. The nearest beach (Paradise Beach) can be reached by car in a few minutes and is one of the best beaches on the whole island. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Barbados.

not enough can be said about our wonderful host Denise and her family: they were very welcoming and very kind to us during our whole visit. when we return to Barbados this will always be our choice of where to stay…. I cannot imagine anything more wonderful.

Mrs Denise and her daughter are fantastic and friendly ladies. Always there for questions and help if you need. Apartment itself is super clean and incredibly nice. Wifi works perfectly. There is all you need and we felt there like we´re at home. We like Barbados very much, local people are most friendly I have ever met. Highly recommended. Come to see Barbados and stay at Denise apartment. You´ll enjoy your holiday and you´ll have great time.
