Está muy céntrico. Tiene bastante verde por todo lado. Está bien para pasar la noche, si se busca comodidad es mejor pagar más en otro lugar.

La cama no es tan confortable, pero en relación con el precio no se puede pedir más.

La habitación estaba sucia, había muchísimos insectos y la cama estaba llena de bichos. Solicitamos el cambio y nos dijeron que no era posible… El desayuno era super escueto y la comida no estaba muy allá (fruta con moscas, no había leche, nada de salado, poca variedad). Las instalaciones en general estaban sucias

Ils nous ont annulé notre réservation 2h avant (par mail) prétextant une date de validité incorrecte pour notre carte de crédit. La carte a fonctionné pour la réservation Booking (si vous faite une erreur de date la réservation ne passe pas) donc c'était juste n'importe quoi. Ils voulaient faire plaisir à des amis ou autres et ont prétexté une erreur de Booking. Nous étions épuisés de notre voyage (17h) accompagnés de nos deux enfants. C'est inadmissible comme façon de faire. A fuir

We stayed here in 2021 after covid and really liked it so we came back. The breakfast is great (small buffet style)

However when we came back this time we were quite disappointed, this time we only found it ok for 1 night. The room we got was without window and we saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Plus the place and room did feel quite rundown/not well maintained.

Great Finca with a beautiful garden. Delicious breakfast with pancakes, fresh fruit, granola, yoghurt and toast. The garden bungalow was clean and cozy. Safe Barrio with lots of restaurants and bars close by. You can easily walk into the city center. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Unfortunately our booked garden bungalow was given to other guests the night we arrived. We were given a standard double room in exchange which was supposed to be similar quality. Which was not the case at all. It was a bit run down and the walls were extremely thin, so that we woke up frequently. The first room had sheets with hair and stains on them, they were also wrinkled as if someone has already slept in them for a night. There was no one at the reception to ask for new ones. The host wanted to give us that standard double room for 2 nights for a discount of 10 USD (which is also the regular price difference between those two room). We had to insist on switching to the booked garden bungalow. The promised discount of 5 Dollar for the one night ended up being only 4 Dollar. So in total our experience is disappointing due to the first night. For this first night in the double room I would give 4 points and for the second night in the bungalow 9 points.

Location is great, very close to many many restaurants and bars, close to city center as well. The building and hostel structure is also beautiful, with an open area in the yard and modern common areas inside.

Room was smelly when we arrived, I believe it was coming from the bathroom. There was no toilet seat (!!!!) and when we showered, a lot of water pooled in the shower cubicle. It was kind of gross. We also stayed in the room downstairs that has a large window with a view to the parking lot, so anyone could see inside our room if the curtains were not closed. No lights by the bed, only one fan and not AC. Altough it was a hostel, so we would not expect luxury, for the price we paid (equivalent for a 3-star hotel), I would expect much more. Maybe I was just unlucky since my friend who stayed upstairs had no complaints, but having no toilet seat was almost an offense to us as guests. Breakfast was also just "ok". Not many options.

Wij hadden een Deluxe kamer geboekt en een standaard kamer gekregen. Deze kon niet meer veranderd worden naar de kamer die wij wouden. We hadden deze 9 maanden op voorhand geboekt dus ik begrijp niet hoe we toch niet de kamer kregen die wij geboekt hadden. WC bril lag ervan, het was niet proper.

The Hostel is in a great area of San Jose with plenty of restaurants and young/student vibe. The room was cozy and facing a beautiful garden. Very good breakfast, we loved the pancakes! Staff was also very friendly.

The bed could be a bit more comfortable. Some tiles on the floor were broken.

I loved that there was a beautiful back yard to relax in. It felt very peaceful there and in the room. It was also a cool temperature which was nice. The staff was excellent! They were nice and super helpful 👌🏼 the room was comfortable and pleasant. Also live the old design of the house.

The breakfast was not applicable to my family because we are vegans, so, unfortunately there were only bananas and watermelon slices for us. The location was walking distance to a great vegan restaurant though. There was an apparently homeless man shouting in the streets pretty early in the morning but this has nothing to do with the hotel and I don't think is normal. We had the front room (window next to entrance) and there would be guests smoking cigarettes right on the entrance to the hotel which is awful for anyone entering or exiting the building. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke so for me this is really bad, but it is poor etiquette in general.

- Nice building, and old villa with nice inside decorations - beautiful garden where you can enjoy breakfast - comfortable big bed - the room was really beautiful and spacious - in walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants - parking right inside the grounds possible

There were some small things that, for me, added up not being sure I would choose the Hostel again: - the showerhead was damaged so much, I can’t imagine why nobody would bother fixing it - the door to the room kept colliding with the floor at some point of uneven floor - there was nothing special about that intercontinental breakfast - bedsheets and towels were torn and with wholes and should be exchanged - the position of my room: right in between the hostels parkinglot (you had to close the curtains) and the dorms bathroom (you could hear the people use it) - worst thing: cockroaches in my room. I told the front desk, he took a look and never returned. I’m sorry, but for me this kind of bugs is a red flag.

Die Lage ist super. Auch das Personal ist freundlich und über das Frühstück kann man auch nicht klagen.

Es war nicht sauber, ich bin mir sogar sehr sicher, dass unsere Betten nicht frisch bezogen wurden. Das Laken hatte Flecken, die man abkratzen konnte und hat nicht gut gerochen. Die Betten waren nicht bequeme und die Kissen waren eine Katastrophe. Ich habe zudem noch gefrorene da es nur eine dünne Decke gab.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Super Lage, sehr nah zum Zentrum und viele Restaurants in der Umgebung. Frühstück bestehend aus Pancakes, Bananen und Ananas - ausreichend. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür.

My room only had 4 lockers with 6 beds so I couldn’t put my bag anywhere locked away. I wasn’t shown where the toilets or showers were when I arrived.

Завтрак .На завтрак были только блины и фрукты,кофе и чай.Больше ничего не было .Можно было хотябы приготовить омлет и сыр.

Great location in a neighbourhood full of bars and restaurants, and very close to the city center We booked a double room with private bathroom, was very ok ! And we really really enjoyed breakfast with loads of fruits and some very fresh pancakes

Desayuno bueno y abundante, con estupenda zona ajardinada. Ubicación con buen ambiente nocturno y supermercado cercano. Lo mejor la atención de Isaac. Fue de gran ayuda.
