Comfortable, clean, well situated apartment, close to Trindade metro station if arriving from the airport. Communication was very good prior to arrival and the host Nuria suggested some restaurants, 2 of which we tried and we were not disappointed. She is also able to offer a good deal on one of the 6 Bridges boat trips on the Douro. Very good wi-fi.

Great central location, easy to find. Short walk from Trindade station (where you can leave luggage if you arrive from/depart to the airport on the Metro). 15 mins walk from the apartment to the river and 20 mins back (as uphill). Great coffee shop one minute walk away, plus small supermarket. Bigger supermarket opposite Trindade Station. Apartment clean and comfortable with a great living room space to relax in at the end of the day. Great help from Nuria when we arrived on things to see/do and places to eat. She was also able to help us with a late departure which was much appreciated. Would definitely book again.

You can see cockroaches and mold. Blackout occurred 3 times. It's hard to take a hot water shower because of the boiler problem. So the children liked it.

1. We arrived at 3 o'clock for check-in, but we waited for an hour because they was cleaning. 2. Water keeps dripping from the ceiling, so  putting a towel on the floor, moving it to the bed, and moldy and smelly in the room. 3. Blackout occurred 3 times in total. 4. The upstairs shower booth cannot be used because the water does not drain. 5. We had to take a shower the next day because hot water didn't come out while taking a shower. 6. There are a lot of cockroaches.

Nuria the host met us promptly with the keys. She spent some time with us kindly marking points of interest on the map. Location is good. Short walk from the metro and centre of town. Lots of cafes for breakfast on your doorstep.

We stayed in the 5 bedroom appartment. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. No bin bags. No wine glasses. Non stick saucepans very bad condition. Only one kitchen tea towel. The tap in the kitchen sink was very loose. There was no washing up bowl and the kitchen sink could not be filled up as the plug did not seal. The grill in the oven did not work. There was no toaster. We tried using the dishwasher but it cleaned the dishes poorly. The whole appartment was sopping wet when we arrived post cleaning and smelt heavily of bleach. I had to dry the floors in one bedroom and the kitchen with towels. The outdoor sofas had big holes in them with no cushions so could not be sat on. We had heavy rain on the first night and the master bedroom leaked from the roof and rain ran down the wall soaking our clothes and the floor. We pulled back the curtains and realised the wall was covered in black mould so the issue was long standing. The master bedroom shower was missing a door section and leaked all over the floor so could not be used. Nuria advised that she would send in maintenance who bleached the bedroom wall and mopped up the water but could not do much more. I contacted the owner Andre who offered us 2 nights in the appartment below, so two of our party of seven slept in the bedroom below which was a much better, not damp and the appartment was well equipped compared to ours. Unfortunately this arrangement was for 2 nights only so they had to vacate for the last night so not ideal. I tried to meet with Andre to show him the issues but he was too busy, surprising as we bumped into him outside. I couldn't understand why the appartment was continuing to be let out in the condition it was in when Nuria and Andre were very aware of the issues all of which had clearly been there for some time.

Naira was a perfect host! Gave us touring tips, arranged transportation to airport. Made sure we had all we wanted. Apartment is very spacious. We were a group of nine and had plenty of room.

Good local location, close to cafes and a small supermarket. About 10 mins walk to larger supermarket, 15-20 mins to walk into the centre. Also only 5-10 mins from Trinidade, the main metro station. The back of the apartment was very quiet, and there is an outdoor seating area which can be a real sun trap.

Was a bit noisy at the front bedrooms, with traffic noise (bring earplugs!), but the shutters do keep out the bright light in the morning.

Very friendly and helpful stuff: easy and quick in communication. Accomodation was according to expectations.

The property was pretty central, we could walk to mostly everything in 20-30 minutes, although if you have kids with you or a big group and walk more slowly, be prepared for some long walks. We were in contact with 4 different people, got picked up from the airport and told a lot about Porto and where to do which thing/activity. There were small heating units in each room and that was perfect since some of us were a bit colder than others. The apartment was pretty large and all of us were placed comfortably in our rooms. Once again our host was incredibly friendly and approachable and made us feel very welcome, thanks again!

Our bathroom was not very clean, sadly. There was hair in the shower and the little soap shelf was very grimy. There was hair in the bedding as well, which is unfortunate. The rest of the apartment was clean. The coffee maker did not work for some reason, however there was coffee and hot water so we made our way around that.

The apartment was nice and big, there were some essentials like tea and coffee pods, and the host Ani was lovely. Nice bakery and supermarket close by.

Unfortunately it rained a lot, so a couple of rooms had leaks and there was a lot of noise like a metal gutter or something during the night. But we have notified the host, and they said would promptly look at the issues. Also, we missed that on the property description, but there are lots of stairs, and we had some elderly relatives, which was not ideal.

The apt has a good location close to Trindade metro station. It’s very spacious and comfortable. The host Ani was waiting for us in the evening because of our late flight. She helped us with choosing some places for eating and drinking. Thanks Ani ! In the close neighbourhood there are some places to have typical breakfast with local people (not only tourists). We ate in Transturistica and Nova Europa which are 50-100 m far from the apt down the street. Average prices. It was a very nice stay in Porto inspite of the rainy weather. We recommend that place.
