Geweldige locatie, wel afgelegen. Geweldige keuken! Alles vers en overheerlijk! Prachtige ruime appartementen, met fijne bedden en een hangmat. En een ventilator. Prachtig privé strand. Heel goede Wifi.

Ei ilmastointia mikäli sellaista kaipaa. Vedenpaine välillä olematon, riippuen ajankohdasta. Ei mitään sellaista mistä ei selviä supisuomalainen..👍😅

We were looking forward to stay here, because we spent here already one day 4 years ago. We liked the style of the eco bamboo cottages and we didn't mind the longer serving times in the restaurant. The view from our hut was also amazing. One thing although ruined our holiday completely.

The incident that happened to us, happened in the resort first time, but for us it was devastating. We were robbed, and we lost a very substantial amount of money in EUR and PHP. Also my wallet was stolen with all my ATM and credit cards and my ID's. We were left with 60 PHP. We were not able to pay even our bill for food, what at the end was at the cost of the owners. The cottages have a very low security, no real lock from inside. Even you close all the doors and windows, its very easy to climb on the balcony, and open the closed door within 3 seconds. There are no CCTV cameras, no security guard, so the safety of your room is very weak. And especially when we found out that behind the cottages there is a way which leads to the main road and is without any fence. You can not leave anything valuable in the room, and you have to carry all your valuables with you. Even you just go for lunch or dinner a few meters from your cottage. This is what happened to us. We were most likely robbed in daytime, when we either eat our lunch or dinner. Someone just climbed on the balcony, open the door, take all our money and cards, and disappeared at the back..... All our money for the next 3 months of travelling. We were assured by the owners, that they will take measures to improve the safety of the place, but for the guest it's a warning from us, that they should not let any valuables even in the closed cottages. Unfortunately our valuables will not even fit in their small safe, even we didn't know they have one.

You feel close to the nature, sleeping in a bamboo hut. The hosts, Nicky and James are very welcoming and helpful and offered me to dive with them. The restaurant menu is varied. The sunsets are breathtaking. You can also snorkel right in front of the resort and see amazing species.

Cold shower but of well it’s refreshing! If you’re a solo traveller, taking a car from Sibulan airport to the property is a bit pricey. I took a trike but it was really struggling so not a good option.

Es war perfekt,von den Angestellten,der Lage direkt am Strand bis hin zum Essen und den Getränken. Ab 8am sind außer den Tieren und den Wellen keine Geräusche mehr zu hören. Schnorcheln auch wunderschön.Thank you for this experience,Thank you for everything🙏😊.

The room rate was good, but the bamboo structure was open to rats (no food was allowed in the room because of this).

The access by stairs and egress by stairs was a killer for an older man. The food was overpriced and poor quality. The beach was a BIG disappointment. Almost impossible to go swimming because of the rocks in the water.

Location was great. great view and right beside the water.

Bed had mites and mosquito nets were old. It was hot during the night and could've used an extra electric fan.

The hospitality of the staff! The ambience of the dining area still the same!

Menu has changed to cater more to western tourists. Food prices were up from last visit. The pier is gone!

Oceanfront and the view.

The staff need some basic training on how to treat guests. Management is really poor. Right at the first day, nothing was explained. You basically had to asked for everything. As simple as, "what is the WiFi password"? Etc.

Perfect cottage near the beach, food tasty drinks delicious, and lovely hosts

The accommodation complements the beautiful location. The bamboo huts are peaceful, even ours above the cafe. The quality of the food was outstanding. Nicky and James are a friendly and welcoming couple. Our kids loved the dogs and hermit crabs .

It would be nice to be able to make own tea or coffee

Wonderfull Location for a relaxing Holiday.....very close to the beach with a nice Ocean View, very good food in the Restaurant!......also nice for snorceling and Diving, we saw a lot of tropical fishes !

My stay in Kookoo's Nest was amazing and unique. The whole lodge is well planed up to the details. James and Niki are great and super friendly. I joined the Dinner Buffet 3 nights and all guests stay on one big table Like a big Family. If Somebody is looking for a stay on Negros Close to Apo Island... Kookoo's Nest!!

This place is a heaven on earth. So nice and relaxed. Nice rooms/houses, excelent homemade food, and yes that takes time, so order on time. Good swimming and snorkeling and you can dive if you want. Prices are reasonable and the owners very kind

Fantastic secluded beachside location for a restful stay. Good snorkeling on the in house reef Really good restaurant with a varied menu.

A small disappointment was our cottage had a nearly totally obscured sea view.

if you ever want to feel like you’ve been stranded on the most gorgeous deserted island, completely detached and unplugged from the crazy modern world, run, don’t walk to KooKoos Nest. my boyfriend and i are usually the type to adventure around a place, however, we didn’t leave KooKoos Nest for four days. we absolutely loved it and never felt more relaxed. the owners, james and nikki, are also the kindest sweetest people who have amazing adventure stories. before arriving, i had tried diving and found it stressful and overwhelming. nikki offered to take me out and i discovered a love of diving. cannot recommend enough. oh! and the sunsets are to die for.
