This is an excellent hotel in an amazing location with great staff. Our room was well presented, spacious, clean, and met all of our needs. Price is very reasonable too.
The breakfast buffet was not fantastic but this is a very minor downside to an overall great stay.

Dès l’entrée stylisée de l’hôtel Resol, l’impression est positive et confirmée par la souriante gentillesse du personnel à la réception. Chambre mignonne, confortable, très bien insonorisée, se déchausser à l’entrée afin d’éviter de marcher sur le tatami. Slippers à disposition. Salle de bain impeccable. Emplacement de l’Hôtel idéal avec arrêt de bus tout proche pour les visites. Kawaramachi street et environs offrent un vaste choix de restaurants et shopping. Restaurant de l'hôtel Il Chanti recommandé… Très satisfaits de notre choix à Kyoto.

L'emplacement est vraiment idéal. Style de l'hotel soigné et d'une propreté irréprochable. Une très bonne insonorisation des chambres. Nous avons été très satisfaits du Petit-déjeuner buffet et du restaurant Il Chanti de l'hotel.
Le personnel de la réception se montre attentionné et à l'écoute. À souligner également le possible transfert des bagages TA-Q-BIN pratique qui permet de voyager les mains libres.

The location is great, walking distance to many restaurants and shops as well aa easy access to public transport to get to the shrines.

Das Zimmer hatte ein wunderschönes traditionelles Ambiente, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders der Tatami Boden war ein Highlight nach einem anstrengenden Tag laufen. Das Hotel ist mitten im Zentrum, es gibt viele Essensmöglichkeiten, Einkaufmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe. Die Bushaltestellen sind ebenfalls direkt vor dem Hotel und man kommt sehr bequem von A nach B. Auch das Frühstück hatte eine große Auswahl an westlichen und östlichen Optionen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The area is vibrate. Location is good, close to almost anything. However I didn’t enjoy my time here. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t for me. Wifi was pretty bad, came and went.

Потрясающий отель! Все очень понравилось 🥰 Чисто, уютно, красиво!!очень крутые масочки для лица и другие уходовые средства!) Расположение идеальное! А в цветение сакуры особенно - в 50 м длинная аллея с сакурой, цветущая по обе стороны речки.
Очень рекомендую остановиться тут!

Very noisy hotel. Couldnt sleep due to the street noise, hard to find. Breakfast was ordinary.

Location was amazing. Room was cute. Loved the green tea and matcha in room. Nice amenities. Bath was clean. Comfy bed.
Coffee machine was out of order on first few days. We missed the Japanese breakfast on our first breakfast day because it was put away, we ate but did not prefer the western breakfast even though we are from the US.
Please have matcha machine in lobby.

Location was legit the best and even though it was in a busy area, the hotel was nice and quiet. Staff was incredibly helpful as well. No complaints.

The location is great, it is so close to shops and it isn’t far until you’ve found a great restaurant.
The rooms were dated but tidy, the bathroom wasn’t very clean & dust was built up in a lot of areas within the room. Don’t bother with the breakfast here, we ended up asking for a refund for the 2nd day as the 1st day was disappointing and we didn’t want to go back - it’s a shame because the hotel common area is nice and modern, we thought we would be getting a nice breakfast. The hotel should offer a continental breakfast upstairs rather than the hot breakfast in the downstairs restaurant.

Breakfast was nice and lots of variety! Nice size rooms with comfy beds. The bath was a good size for soaking and there was lots of hot water. The location was really fantastic for shopping!
There were gaps by the bath that had some concerning mold-looking issues...

A very warm and welcoming hotel in a brilliant location; very central to public transport and landmarks. The rooms are small (all in Japan are) but we’ll equipped and value-for-money overall was excellent. We very much enjoyed the lobby lounge with free coffee and hot chocolates

Very central hotel near good restaurants and attractions. The room was nice and had better storage than other hotels in japan. I liked that they had an eco friendly policy for cleaning and making up rooms. They also organised our luggage to be sent to Hakuba which was very helpful.
For the price it would have been good to have our option include breakfast- other hotels I stayed in Japan around the same price point offered this.
The room and bed was small but thats standard for Japan.

Its location is fantastic, smack opposite unqilo/gu/loft and beside is a value dollar pharmacy and a supermarket down the road, i couldnt ask for more.
Hotel is also very pretty and clean with plenty of amenities.
The size of rooms are small, but this is typical kyoto standard.

Location, entrance area and free Wellness items
First off. The small bedroom is so tiny that you can’t even open a suitcase. The size of 16m2 include bathroom, bedroom and all the furniture. Would guess the actual free space at max 3-4 m2 in total. Breakfast is not worth the money. It’s all about suitability, therefore they won’t clean your room during the stay (?) but they serve everything in one way paper cups. Looked better in the pictures.
