We had two nice breakfasts out compliments of the property owner. The roof top deck was lovely.

The coffee maker did not work and we had a clogged shower drain. We had to take 90 second showers or water would run onto the floor.

The location was great and allowed us to get to attractions easily. The roof top patio was phenomenal and a great place to hang out and look over the area.

There are a LOT of steps. This place is not good for older people or people with knee problems. We had trouble with the AC unit. I alerted the owners but fortunately it cooled off enough at night that we could sleep. We had breakfast vouchers for 2 caffe's nearby however, neither was open one of the days we were there.

Location was very central

The staff person wasn’t available at 3pm as stated. She works and travelers are not high priority. She didn’t show us how to work any appliances and when we tried to use them they would not work, not even the electric kettle. Very unfriendly. Not a very good place for seniors; there are three levels to climb to the bedroom and then the terrace. Not worth the price or effort. I would never recommend it.

The long way to get to the apartment. It would've been more convenient if you mention the long staircase as some people may not be capable to carry heavy luggage all this way (not to mention the other staircase to the bedroom). Also, the mattress is not comfortable and water pressure of the shower was very low. Please also ensure to include plastic bags in the room since there are no cleaning services daily. Bathroom had only a sliding door which doesn't actually close and there was no ventilation there.

Check in was not convenient at all with host not able to meet us at the apartment after our train arrived although it was during the check-in window. After setting a meeting time and receiving a lot of duplicate messages, had to wait for an additional 20' after meeting time. Shower was not clean with poor water pressure. No ability to store luggage after check-out.

Location was great. Had an elevator. The apartment was a lovely 2 stories with a private roof top terrace.

There was very little lighting. In the bathroom the light over the si k did not work. Only had one small wall sconce for the large bathroom. Downstairs the one lamp over the table did not work. We had to bring a bedside lamp from upstairs to the down stairs. We were given an incorrect address to put into our gps causing us to walk much further than we should have.

I didnt arrive at the property because they ask extra money twice for late check in. I had a problem on my way and i announced that i will be late. First time they ask 10 euro extra, and after they ask another 10 euro, total 20 euro extra for doing nothing. So i ask to refund, and i made a reservation in another place. First they said that its ok, they will cancel it without anu cost, but next day they changed their minds. They dont want to give the money back, they just want to win easy money, by doing nothing. it’s not a trust partner, they could ask extra money and you can’t do anything because you can’t cancel it, underwise you will lose your money. I hope that no one else will suffer the same. I don't recommend it, there are other options that are much more correct and ok. Worse is that Booking does nothing to avoid such situations. Such properties should not exist on such a platform.

Host could have been available for check-in. Supplies were very minimal. This is not an Airbnb but with Airbnb you get laundry detergent, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, basic cooking supplies. So although this was like an Airbnb in so many ways, it lacked some of the features of Airbnb, basic supplies in particular. Hard to access the rooftop terrace so we didn't use it as much as we would have liked.

Gorgeous split level apartment in the centre of Modena, a few steps from the Duomo. Stunning rooftop terrace overlooking the city. Great facilities including a well equipped kitchen and a washing machine. Very comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect.

We absolutely fell in love with Modena Charme and the city of Modena! The facilities are wonderful- very clean, comfortable bed, washer/dryer, great air conditioning, and likely the best view of Modena from the rooftop, where we spent a lot of time! Excellent location and breakfast as well. Irene was extremely helpful!

The location is perfect, the terrace is beautiful and the apartment is spacious

I was so angry I didn’t enjoy the stay at all. this is my vacation in Italy and she ruined the night. I am requesting A refund of 50% because of the inconvenience of going back and forth to the apartment until she showed up.

the hostess didn’t let us in until 630. she works away from the property and had to wait until she was off work while we waited.

On booking the address is not complete, it should be via emilia Centro, without centro we arrived at a different address

The highlight of this flat is the central location and the roof terrace. You can not find a lot of those, that makes this apartment very special. The rest was fully ok, we liked the uncomplicated communication with the host.

It's not a complain, just an advice, the roof terrace could be kept in better shape, like to install lighting and put some plants.
