Convenient position near the centre of Hythe with parking. Pleasant room, but not spacious. As a solo traveller there was enough room, but with two people it would have been more challenging. The ensuite bathroom, a bath with shower over, which is what I requested, was clean. The proprietor was pleasant and helpful.

I had contacted the property advising them that I would arrive about 4pm, or thereabouts. I arrived at 4.20pm, and despite pressing the door bell a few times, received no response. I tried to phone the property but it was engaged. I left a voice mail message which was responded to about 30 minutes later. By this time I was visiting friends, and actually checked in at around 9pm. The step between the bedroom and ensuite bathroom was difficult to manage if you are in your more senior years. I did not feel that the 'room only' price was particularly good value.

Cooked breakfast very good but would have liked maybe fruit/yoghurt as well

Not so pleasant eating breakfast in the hallway Only the 2 of us staying on this occasion but would have felt very cramped if there had been all 6 present Also would have liked a teapot never had tea served in a cup before!

Not much parking on-site but plenty of parking a short walk away.

Room quite dated. hard mattress. step into bathroom steep both sides as it’s covering the waste pipe. Cracked bath panel. towels quite hard and towel rail needed near the sink.

I slept much better than in a hotel in this comfortable homely room. An excellent breakfast!

Bed was a little bit too hard large crack in the bath which put me off using it, so ended up using the shower instead, which is a shame, as I upgraded my room for the bath. Can hear other guests using their toilets VERY clearly, which I found a bit off putting

quaint seaside feel. homely, really comfortable. has everything you need.

it was all great, no complaints, the driveway is a little awkward- but it was fantastic to have parking!
