We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Leonard St. The house was cute and old and quirky. The king size bed was very comfortable and I would have liked to take the claw foot tub home with me. If you have trouble navigating stairs this is not the place for you. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep. The property is easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Southport. We would love to stay there again.

This home is cozy, comfortable, and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. It is conveniently located close to Downtown Southport and the waterfront, and it is an easy walk to some very nice restaurants. Oak Island with its wide beaches is a short drive away. You will not find a nicer host than Melissa. She is friendly and responsive should you need anything-so just enjoy!!

We had the pleasure of staying in this adorable cottage that is in the heart of Southport! Close to, even walkable to, several shops and restaurants. The property is beautifully decorated, clean and has everything you’d need for a stay. The downstairs is surprisingly large and the bedrooms are comfortable and roomy. One thing to note is that while the master bath has a lovely claw foot tub, there is not a shower. This was not an issue for our group but it could be for others. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to another visit!

We had a comfortable stay in this treehouse with our dogs. The shops, best restaurants, wine shops, Maritime Museum, and waterfront are all in comfortable walking distance…yet the house and neighborhood were peaceful and quiet. Be sure to wear your fitness device as you will definitely meet your goal for “floors” with the 3rd floor master!

We stayed with family for a long weekend in Southport. The location is great, not far at all from local restaurants and the water. Also the ferry to Fort Fisher is a short car ride away too. We had a great time here. The house is unique and inviting and we plan to come back.

Adorable cottage!
What a gem this place is! It was the perfect home base for our family summer beach trip. The cottage itself is so well decorated and has an old world charm. We loved sitting in the little courtyard without coffee in the mornings and wine at night. The house was within walking distance to everything Southport has to offer. We barely used our car the whole time. The hostess was friendly and quick to respond any time I had a question. Would 100% recommend to friends. We will be back!

Comfy and Cosey Cottage Getaway!
This property was perfect and met all expectations! Just up the street from most of the local shops and just a couple of miles to the Fort Fisher Ferry and Kure Beach where the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher is located and the beach access for 4x4's. In the opposite direction and 20 minutes away are the Oak Island public beach access points. The property is rustic yet has everything you need. It almost feels like Bilbo Baggins from the movie The Hobbit could greet you at the door and ask you yo go on a magical quest! Thanks for the great experience!

Southport Charm
Very charming and cozy cottage style home with a lot of conveniences (full kitchen, washer/dryer, updated bathrooms). There is no bathroom on the main level and the stairs are very narrow and steep.
This house could easily be a 5 star property if there was a good deep cleaning done on the interior with a bit more attention given to the exterior (power washing, cutting back shrubbery and cutting the lawn) to rid the patio and porch areas of black mildew.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable and the quaint charm of the property was as expected.

Clean and pleasant
Stayed here over the Easter holiday and enjoyed the home and location. Once you part at the house, unless you want to travel outside of downtown, you won't have to get back in your car. Great location and quiet.

A little TLC
The property was nice but it needed a little TLC. It had some exterior mildew, the master porch was unsafe and we could not open the slider because there was only one door. The outside needed to be raked. It was a very sweet property, and a good spring cleaning would help make it great.

Weekend retreat
Enjoyed the stay. One issue was thT I had discrepancies on two separate emails in regards to check in - out times. I called my contacts prior to my arrival and still to this day no response. Not acceptable to me. I rent 4 properties in Colorado and always have someone ready to respond to a paying clients response. Maybe it's just me

Valentine's weekend away
This was an absolutely gorgeous property. It is a three-level house right off of the Main Street in downtown Southport right around the corner is a golf cart rental and also really amazing food to eat. My husband and I went for the weekend of Valentine's Day everything was clean the neighborhood was quiet everything is as the post says it is about the property. I loved the little outside patio and the clawfoot bathtub the inside of the house is decorated very well and it is very well kept I love how they had remodeled everything we had a fantastic stay no issues whatsoever

Great location but the stairs!!!!
We loved the location and the house is cute, but there is no bathroom on the main floor and the master is up two flights of narrow stairs. The second stairs are painted white and hard to navigate. I should have read the reviews before booking.

Christmas in Southport
Our family arrived to a holiday decorated rental including a lighted Christmas tree. We had easy communications with the property management team and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Relaxing home like getaway
Totally recommend this property. It’s a quaint at home cottage feel and quiet neighborhood. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Great walk to shops and places to eat. You can rent golf cart right around the corner if you like. The owner was very gracious and helpful.

Relaxing and Clean
This little house is nestled among the trees on the corner of a quiet neighborhood street. It's only a block from the main street that takes you right to the water's edge and a block in the opposite direction is a little park with walking trails and a playground. We had a great time during our stay! The location makes it convenient to both the water and historical sites as well as just a short drive to the boat landing. We found the house very clean. The kitchen is well appropriated which makes preparing our meals very easy and pleasant. The property managers are friendly and helpful with great communication. Overall, we had an excellent experience staying here! We will definitely keep this house in mind for our next visit to Southport.

Comfortable and well-prepared for renters
Pros - everything was clean, comfortable and well-stocked for renters .. easy walk to the waterfront ... fun layout and furnishings ... personal without being too loaded with owner's belongings ... plenty of space to "move in" for the week ... we loved that we could bring our dog
Cons - a little close to the main road w/ 6:00 AM dumpster emptying on two of the mornings we were there ... mid-level bathroom shower appeared to leak at least once above the downstairs coffee station (called manager and they said it would be addressed) ... no bathroom on the main floor was a minor inconvenience, but certainly not a reason to not come back

First time visiting Southport with my girlfriend and our dog. The house was amazing and the neighborhood was very nice. We felt very safe our entire trip and the location is very close to downtown Southport and Oak Island beaches!

We had a great time. Beach close by and not crowded. Food, shops, wine tasting and breweries all within brief walking distances. House in quiet location one block off main road. Not even the construction on the main road interrupted the peace.

We would highly recommend this lovely cottage to anyone looking for a cozy, clean home with all the conveniences and comfort of a home you will need! Walking distance to shopping and great restaurants. Owners were accessible and happy to answer any questions. We hope to visit again in the future!
