So many large, cosy rooms to choose from. Beds were so comfy & kitchen well equiped - great place for a large group. It was a rainy winter weekend & the perfect place to be holed up playing board games with the open fire & two huge tables. We’ll definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here, they provided us with the basics! The outdoor scenery was my favourite! We had a small visitor yesterday lol (a frog) the one thing that needs changing in this house is the lounges opposite the kitchen it's about time they get an upgrade! Other than that the house is pretty good! Thanks for having us we really had a great time!

We really loved the place. It was so spacious and enough room for everyone. We had beautiful views from the balcon which we really enjoyed. Will be booking there again in future.

My family and I stayed at Le Chateau Retreat the night before and night of my wedding. Although I didn't get to fully appreciate the stay (due to last minute wedding prep), the holiday house was all inclusive with several rooms, a fully equiped kitchen, game room, pool and spa. It served as the perfect getting ready location for photos (my makeup artist, photographer and videographer all complimented the place).
The only few cons about the place: there's a distinct smell upon entering the house (which could easily be resolved by diffusors to make it more inviting), there are a lot of insects, there's minimal to no reception (which could be a pro if you're wanting everyone to be present in the moment, but it was a con for since we needed to contact someone to fix the stove, communicate with wedding vendors/other bridal party and had difficulty using maps for navigation

The place was stunning! Plenty of space for guests. We were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather to enjoy the pool and outside area. Highly recommend.

While the property is very spacious with generous bedrooms & living areas & the rural setting is glorious, this house needs updating & maintenance. It does not qualify as luxury accomodation.
Nevertheless, we all enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our get together at Le Chateau, what a lovely house! Unfortunately the pool was broken so we couldn't use it and we had a mild linen hiccup (that was sorted out) but otherwise really lovely and we would definitely go back. Madeline was a pleasure to deal with!

A spectacularly located, and well maintained property. It was very clean and well prepared for all guests. The kitchen was a perfect size for all the cooking, the verandas perfect for aoaking up the winter sun, the bedrooms quiet and comfortable, the downstairs billard room and spa a treat to have. We could not fault this property or the way it was managed from beginning to end. Everyone who stayed over the weekend agreed it was a beautiful property, comfortable sleep, and enjoyed their time. I stayed in Le Chateau with my colleagues for an off-site conference recently and we are all super impressed by the house and the property managers.
The house is in a great location... quiet, serene but still close to Erina. Everything was clean and easy to find/use. Communication with the property managers was great and they were very helpful with receipts.
Thanks for having us and we hope to come back next year.

The house was amazing! The location was quiet and resolute and perfect to get away for a great weekend to catch up and enjoy the peace and quiet. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to stay somewhere quiet, secluded and spacious!

We found Le Chateau to be spacious, comfortable, beautifully furnished and well-suited to the requirements of three generations of our family. Activities included beach, walking, cycling, mountain bike, swimming pool, Tree Tops, bird watching, pool table. The agents were easily contacted by phone, email or message and responsive to any questions or concerns.

This was the perfect location to have all the family stay under one roof. Plenty of space for multiple families, very clean and fantastic communication. We even had professional family photos taken in the lovely gardens to celebrate being together.

A wonderful Christmas vacation at Le Chateau. Facilities are highly rated for a large gathering. Quiet semi rural setting but easy access to beaches and shops. Good value for a group.

The Chateau delivered on its promise in spades. With 15 friends, there was a space for every need, super close to amenities but in such a tranquil setting. We’ll be back with our families.

Stunning 8 bedroom house with big open rooms. Great for a winter or summer get away. Highly recommend the property for groups wanting to connect in a beautiful and relaxing environment.

Extended Family holiday
Lovely house for our families. It was comfortable, not too pristine that we had to worry with our little ones.
It was a bit crowded in the upstairs bathroom; 4 adults & 6 children had to use one bathroom. Other bedrooms worked well.
Kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of everything.
No hair dryer which I though was strange given the amount of other inclusions.
Games room & spa were a hit with our bigger children.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t use much of the grounds as the recent rain & floods had saturated it & swept away the bridge over the creek.
It was a great few days for us, suited our needs, a shirt drive to beaches & coffee.
We will recommended to friends.

Perfect for our family reunion
Le Chateau was all that it promised online and the whole family was very comfortable and impressed with the property. The surroundings were full of birdsong and greenery but services like supermarket and restaurants were just a short drive away.
The booking process and welcome was efficient and friendly.
Since this was a winter booking the inviting pool was not used but the young people thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub!
The kitchen was well appointed and the family made good use of it including managing to fit our 14 around the casual table near the kitchen.
Winter sun was enjoyed on the comfortable balcony furniture and a cosy adult time was enjoyed around the wood fire in the formal lounge.
I thoroughly recommend this property.

Perfect family holiday home
We had 10 adults and 8 young children, this property was perfect for a big group like us. Really enjoyed the stay especially the spa!

Grand home with all the “mod-cons”
This 8 bedroom 4 bathroom home over three levels includes a billiard room, a spa and a large pool with lots of off road parking. It is Seth on quite large grounds in a very quiet part of Holgate, and yet is less than 10 minutes from Erina . It has huge family area particularly attractive for young children as well as covered balconies and several formal rooms that adults can retreat to. The games room has its own television and pool table. The management of the home were extremely responsive and suggested a chef to cook a five course meal one night for a family event. We couldn’t have been happier

Great house for large groups
Le Chateau is exactly as the photos depict - big! 2 large fridges and an extremely well stocked kitchen meant cooking for our large group was a breeze. Bedrooms were large and beds comfy enough. We had 7 little kids running around the house and the acoustics allowed the noise to travel to every corner of the house.
Overall a very lovely get away for the Easter break!

Great location, able to fit large groups
We really enjoyed our short holiday here (4 families). The kitchen was well appointed for large groups. The kids enjoyed the pool, spa and pool room. Communication was easy.

Fabulous big house
Great property for family and friends. Well stocked with cooking equipment and dinnerware.
Lovely quiet area and plenty of areas for quiet time in the house. We had an issue with the electricity board and it was fixed in an hour.

Great house!
We didn’t have the best weather so the jacuzzi was a great little bonus.
They are not joking about the noise policy. We did get contacted at 5pm for playing music on the balcony. (We obviously didn’t think it was loud, but there is a granny flat in front of house that I assume may have had an issue)

Wonderful extended family home
We had a wonderful time over the weekend with the whole extended family together; ages ranged from under 2 to 80+ years of age and we found the property to cater for all our needs. Multiple living areas so adults and kids can hang out separately. Plenty of beds and rooms as well as toilet and showers. Although we didn’t use the pool and spa as it was too cold, they presented very well. Overall great fun had by all and would love to come back again in summer!

Excellent holiday house
Exceeded my expectations, kitchen is a dream to work in for a large group. Beautiful home with mutiple living spaces. Could give us two bath towels and bath mats instead of just one for 3 nights.
