Wonderful bike paths, very easy short walk to pool and beach ( adult pool is quiet) extremely comfortable condo. Nice well behaved owners & visitors

Due to the fact that there was construction that closed the pool area and access to the beach, it ruined our vacation!! I chose this property purely for it’s convenience to the beach because I have a handicap. My husband is eighty. I had to drive to the public beach so that he could enjoy the ocean! I will never use VRBO again!!!

We had a lovely stay in Palmetto Dunes. This condo is perfectly situated in Villamare - it's on the first floor. The steps down to the pool are practically in front of the condo door. My husband, 5 year old and I spent almost 2 weeks here. We could not get over the convenience of the location. The condo itself is very spacious and very clean. The owners are quick to respond via email and text. The bikes that are included with your stay are easy to find and in great condition. We enjoyed many pickleball outings as well as some golf. I also ventured next door to the Marriott for yoga on the beach (you need to sign up in the MindBody app) which was so serene and peaceful first thing in the morning, and barely a 5 minute walk on the beach from Villamare. A little used gem on the property is the bbq and seating area. Nobody else used it while we were there but we grilled more than we planned to because the views at sunset from the Adirondack chairs are gorgeous. This was our third trip to Palmetto Dunes but our first stay in Villamare. We will definitely be renting this property again!

This property was close to the beach, love that. Well decorated, up to date. Bikes are great even though we did not use them. Having beach chairs is a great plus. We enjoy the Villamare location.

Easy walk to the pool and beach. Condo is fine but nothing special. Since it’s on the first floor and on the backside of the building it has an extremely limited view of the ocean. The beach chairs and bikes that are provided are a nice plus.

We had a great vacation staying at Palmetto Dunes. Our rental unit was just as stated online & the owner was great to work with. However, we were disappointed with the grounds cleanliness. Broken beer bottles on sidewalks when we arrived. The bottles weren’t cleaned up till we made a request on Monday. Pool could have been cleaner. Everything else was great.

Could not have been better! The proximity to the pool and beach, the comforts of the condo and the convenience of the super fun general store made this trip completely perfect! We enjoyed eating cinnamon rolls from the store every morning, riding our bikes to Kilwin’s at Shelter Cove for ice cream, and driving to It’s Greek to Me for an amazing meal! Can’t wait to go back!!

Great location to pool and ocean beach

You can't get closer to the beach than this property. Mike and Peggy were fantastic to communicate with and provided answers to any of our questions and tons of information about Hilton Head. There were plenty of beach neccessities as well (chairs, toys, etc.). Everything you would need for an amazing vacation with the family! Thanks Mike and Peggy for a great stay!

Great location, easy to get all over the island from the condo.

We highly recommend this unit. Everything you need for a wonderful vacation is provided, from the bikes, beach chairs, 2 hours pickle ball or tennis to everything you need to cook a meal if you wanted too. The washer and dryer was an added plus and is very clean . The beds were comfortable as well. Very clean condo and the owners are super easy to work with. They answered all my questions I had within a few minutes. The condo is close to the pool and beach which was great. There are several good restaurants close by our favorites were The smokehouse, Salty Dog. Crazy crab, reilleys were our favorites . If your looking to vacation in Hilton Head you will not be disappointed in this condo!!! We will visit again !

We were very comfortable in our place. It was super clean, there were helpful directions for the tv (big help), as well as running the dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc. The master suite was big and comfortable, and with the other bedroom, and a pullout, we could've had more people with us. Bikes and beach chairs were also provided, which was a definite bonus. Would definitely book again!

Close to beach and pool. Kids loved the bikes and bike trails. since the weather wasn't great. I love how close to the golf courses it was.

Everything about this property, the accommodations, location, amenities, Golf Courses are 5 star. Enjoyed the bikes, golf and morning walks on beach. Always make a point to have dinner at Alexander's, Nectar Farm Kitchen, and Coast, Highly recommend if planning vacation to Hilton Head

This cliean cozy condo is just steps from the beach in beautiful Palmetto Dunes. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathrooms were perfect. Really enjoyed the free bikes that saved us money and provided mobility for everyone. Parking is under cover and restaurants are close by. Perfect.

My sister, her husband and I shared this beautiful condo. The location to the pool, beach, fitness center and the patio grills were just steps away. The condo was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and well stocked with cookware. We enjoyed the unit having 4 beach chairs that made the beach comfortable and 4 bikes to easily explore the island. Hopefully next year to return to enjoy another great vacation. Close to local supermarket. Owner was always available whenever we tried to reach and very helpful.

We had a great experience staying at this condo! Mike was quick to communicate which I appreciated. The location is right by the pool and beach which was nice especially with a toddler and a baby. We’d love to stay here again and recommend it to others!

We have been visiting Hilton Head for many years and have to say this rental and host went above and beyond. They were on top of everything. The rental is beautifully decorated, clean, fully stocked. We were not in need of anything. Beautiful location, pool, beach. This place is a treasure. Will definitely be back. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful, stress-free vacation.

This worked great for our family.

We stayed at the Perkins’ condo at Villamare, in Hilton Head, as part of our first trip to the island with kids. The accommodations where as described, spacious and comfortable. 6 adults could stay comfortably. Our only suggestions were that the kitchen be a little better equipped for a weeks long stay. The cleaning service provided a dish cloth, a roll of paper towels and 2 garage bags. A dish towel for drying dishes would have be helpful. Also, the condo has a broom but no dust pan. Finally, some cleaning spray would also be a nice touch to help wipe down the glass top tables and kitchen counters. We were In contact with Mike serval times during our stay. He was very helpful and quick to reply. We were thankful that they shared their vacation home with us. We will be back.

Our 3 favorite things about the condo were the closeness to the beach, the super comfortable beds, and the chairs/bikes being included!!!! We love Ela’s restaurant and the Jazz Corner, those are both definite todo’s on the island! We love HH 🏖 🏝

My wife and I along with my daughter and two young grandkids have stayed at Villamare in Palmetto Dunes on 4 occasions. All of our trips have been wonderful. Mike and Peggy's oceanfront unit offers the easiest access to the beach and pool of any unit. A real plus with youngsters. Also the condo comes with extra amenities - bikes and beach chairs - that makes car packing a lot easier and saves you the cost of bike rentals. I had one or two "user error" issues when I first arrived and Mike was very responsive and walked me through them quickly. In summary, a great vacation condo and vacation. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay. Well appointed and clean updated villa in a great Hilton Head location. Palmetto Dunes is our family favorite and this is a superb unit only steps from the beach and pool.
