My husband and I brought our 2 medium sized dogs up here for a long weekend to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and loved it. We have absolutely no complaints. In short, we will highly recommend this property and will be returning in the future! Many more details about why below. 😊 I’ll start with what the dogs loved because those are the reviews that I always look for when bringing them anywhere. They really enjoyed the big, fenced backyard and had nonstop zoomies every time they stepped into it. From one side of the yard, they could see the farm animals and dog in the neighbors yard. They had never seen goats before so there was some barking and goat noises back and forth but it wasn’t a problem for us. We had an elk visitor in the gated backyard which was exciting but just be aware and check for elk before letting them into the backyard. They enjoyed watching the elk from inside through the windows! We were close to lots of hiking spots and Okay, now for the humans. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We were excited they had an air fryer and visited the market to get some frozen food for lunches and snacks throughout the day. We were super close to everything in town so we’re able to easily order take out and pick it up each night for dinner. There are some delicious options! Check in and check out was so simple. Dana was very communicative prior to check in and responsive throughout the whole trip. Thank you!

Wow, this is such a cute cabin. Everything you need and we were so cozy. We spent New Year's here because our dog is terrified of fireworks and Pine doesn't allow them. Our fur baby was so comfortable! Love the 2nd bedroom and the loft -- unfortunately we didn't need it but it would be perfect for a larger family. We were super warm with the space heaters located throughout. I actually prefer them to central heating because they are warmer and more economical. The fireplace was a bonus and very relaxing. The elk came by every day to graze and nap in the front yard. This property is at the end of a dead end street but so close to everything in Pine and just 2 miles to Strawberry. We had to go to Payson for a prescription one day and it was a short drive. If you love movies, there's a massive VHS collection. If you love streaming, there are all those services too (with your password). I was afraid we wouldn't get to see the ball drop on New Year's Eve but the YouTube TV had all the live channels. Also enjoyed the Rose Parade on New Year's Day. Communication from host was spectacular - from making sure we got checked in and had everything we needed to making sure we had a smooth check out. Will stay here again and again!

I stayed in this cabin last year with some friends. I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity this year to bring my mother up to Pune to enjoy ‘cabin life’ in Pine. She was very pleased and at home on our stay. She enjoyed the relaxed, cozy feel of the cabin and seeing the elk come right up to the property every sunrise and dusk.

We searched and searched for fenced property and found this home. Very comfortable home, huge fenced yard, everything we needed was available. The house is at a cul-de-sac so there was no traffic at all. The neighbors were very friendly and especially the elk. Plenty of parking space for our two trucks with utility trailers, hauling two Polaris Rangers. Great place to stay!

This is a beautiful and well maintained cabin in a beautiful location. The elk came by every day which was a thrill. It is quiet and peaceful. Another plus is that all switches are labeled and directions provided for things like the air fryer! No guessing about things. We will be back!

Our experience at Arlene Pines was wonderful! Donna was Johnny-on-the - spot responding to pre-booking questions I had and the one or two questions I had while at the cabin. Then as we sadly had to leave this little treasured cabin, she touched base again. Absolutely the best, non-invasive, welcoming host…thank you, Donna. The cabin is quaint and non presumptuous. All the basics one expects from a rental mixed in with charming accents from the decor to the wildlife. I stayed with my 3 grandchildren for 3 nights and it was relaxing, quiet and beautiful. I rate it 5 ⭐️

There’s a throwback charm to this comfy little cabin that’s refreshing and relaxing. It has all the modern amenities (wi-fi, flat screens in every room, etc.) but it just has a vibe like a mountain getaway from another decade. We were very comfortable. The beds were wonderful. We even got to see some elk come by two different days. A very refreshing break.

Great cabin for weekend get away. Tucked away in the forest. Plenty of room for our family and our fur babies. Had everything we needed and place stayed warm and cozy while a snow storm hit. Would definitely stay again.

Arlene Pines exceeded our expectations! Checking in was a breeze. The cabin was immaculate, cozy, and very comfortable. There is plenty of dishes, towels, blankets, pillows, etc. The bed was very comfy and there were several space heaters available for us to stay warm. We enjoyed the rain and cool pines. The neighborhood is peaceful, relaxing, and expect the elk to stroll through the front yard for a bit. The host is quick to respond and very pleasant! Our pups enjoyed the fresh air and could of spent hours in the fenced back yard, except they don't like to get their feet wet. We will definitely return to Arlene Pines!

Enjoyed the property very much. Amnestied were provided and went above and beyond. The greatest attraction were the Elk that came onto the property almost every night. Feeding them became a highlight. Some even let us pet them. Children were over the moon. Great stay!!!!

Arlene Pines was a very nice, clean property. Atmosphere was very much “cozy cabin.” The elk visited almost everyday which was kind of fun and really a new experience for us. The place had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway.

Very clean and well-stocked with all the necessities. Large, fenced-in backyard. Showtime for the family of Elk was around 6:00 pm every evening. Property management was very cooperative. We would rent this property again if in the area.

Cabin had everything we needed. The Elk were a plus, had over 20 in the yard on several occasions. .Got some rain and much cooler weather than in the valley. great week.

Great home in a small community of large properties. The lot was huge and there were several large female elk that slept in the yard every night. It’s not a fancy house, it’s a cabin. There are a couple of stairs leading up to the cabin, no ramp and it’s not wheelchair friendly. We didn’t need these things but just an fyi. It’s comfortable and has a charm that would definitely bring us back. The only things that I found lacking…I wish there were small amenities provided for those things people most often forget (toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap). Also, a posted sign of opening and closing up the cabin. One was emailed to me but it would have nice to have one printed. There was a nice book of things to do and places to eat in Pine that I thought was really nice. We had a great experience and found the owners to be extremely friendly.

Great location, in the heart of Pine! The Host made sure we got checked in ok, and was readily available to help answer any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again!

The cabin is located in a quiet area and was just what we were looking for. Owner was great at communicating with us. The elk passed through the yard early morning and evening.

The perfect cabin with a large fenced yard that's very kid and pet friendly. Accessible to hiking trails and restaurants in the immediate area. The cabin is much larger than we anticipated, had a stocked kitchen, plenty of room in cabinets for anything we brought, space heaters, extra blankets (if needed) and the gas fireplace puts out a good amount of heat to keep you warm throughout the cabin. Donna's communication was excellent and felt comfortable knowing she was available if anything she was needed throughout the stay. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Its a great cabin for all the family even your fur babies. Big fenced yard and quiet location. Excellent VHS collection was fun to go through and watch kids struggle to work VCR! Only one bathroom was a struggle in AM but not a deal breaker. We enjoyed our stay!

The cabin, furnishings, location, property, communications, everything was perfect, just perfect!! We had so much fun!!

Just a quick stay this time. Property has seen some repairs since April and the owners just keep making the property better. Although this may be more house than we really need for a getaway from the heat and frenzy of the valley, the layout still feels cozy. There is always food to leave out to coax the elk into hanging out. We will continue to use this as our “home” away from home. Thanks!
