I needed a little place to stay and rest—the pink elephant cottage was perfect. It’s comfortable, and beautiful. Very clean, and well taken care of. The owners were very polite and responded to my messages very quickly. Can’t wait to stay here again! :)

This is a cute little place which was very welcoming. Nice linens, warm shower, and very dog friendly with a fenced in potty area. A terrific weekend overall!

Fab location and comfortable space!

We enjoyed our stay in Indianapolis/Carmel area. Cottage was in a wonderful spot. The grounds were beautiful and the cottage was also. The hosts provided everything some one would need for their stay and were very accommodating.

This was a great place to stay for our weekend trip to Purdue. It was only about an hour from campus and was very convenient to get on the highway. The unit was super cute and cozy, while still being very functional! It has many thoughtful touches and decor. The host was easy to communicate with and provided very clear instructions for everything.

This is a beautiful place surrounded by flowers and gorgeous houses. It is nestled behind the main house in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. We stayed for 2 weeks and I worked from there as I am a remote employee. It was difficult to stay there for longer than a couple of days. Here are my reasons for the slight mark down: the path is grown over with grass even after their yard was mowed and it was a long walk. It rained while we were there and we had to walk through mud and a puddle in one section of the path. It is not easy to walk on the pavers and carry large suitcases or heavy things. The internet was intermittent so I was often dropped from meetings and I could not use the wi-fi for calls without drops. The kitchen is like an RV - perfect for a weekend or if you eat your meals out, but cooking there and keeping anything cold in the dorm size refrigerator was difficult. The bedroom blinds did not close all they way and I could see through the slats, so I put a sheet over the window for privacy. The parking place was often taken or blocked by someone at the main house.

Lovely well-equipped cottage 20 minutes north of downtown. Claudia was the perfect combination of friendly, attentive and respectful of our privacy.

This was the first time my wife and I have ever used Vrbo ,or the other company. This place was exactly what we were expecting it to be like based on the photos and description. The owner was easy to communicate with through text, and the layout of the place was overall nice. We have a small dog and the place was really good for small dogs. Minor issues that I am not going to really gripe about, and the owner has already been informed about and was responsive to.

Just had the best stay this garden cottage in Carmel, IN, with my 13 year old niece. She lives in the area and I am from Cleveland so I chose the cottage for a special girls getaway. It is a darling space, decorated beautifully and has everything you need to more than comfortably enjoy your stay. The grounds are beautiful, great photo opportunity! The hosts, Steve and Claudia, couldn't have been more accommodating. We will definitely be back and I would recommend the cottage to anyone traveling to the Indianapolis area. My niece and I were both sad to close the door and say goodbye!

This was an excellent location in Indy for the activities we had planned for our weekend getaway. We were greeted by Steve when we arrived and had a great chat with him while he showed us around the cottage. We had a lovely stay and will definitely stay again!!

The cottage was perfect. Nice neighborhood and close to many shops and restaurants. Only 20 minutes from Ruoff Music Center!

We absolutely loved this property! The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed, and was surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The fenced in area out back was ideal for our dog. Claudia and Steve were excellent hosts. We look forward to staying with them in the future!

Excellent location (we wanted to do some biking -- the property is exactly 2 miles from the Monon). Beautiful, restful space to return to.

This was a great location for almost anything. It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood We had everything we needed during our stay for the weekend wedding. Very clean and comfortable! We rode the Monon Trail and hiked Holiday Park Thank You Claudia and Steve for your wonderful hospitality!

Very nice getaway. Our only complaint is that the walk from where are you park and the getaway cottage was on stones not a solid sidewalk and my husband is disabled. It was a little hard for him to maneuver, but other than that we would go back.

Stayed at a lovely cottage just outside Indianapolis proper but a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. It was a nice quiet neighborhood. The cottage was very comfortable and the grounds and garden will be beautiful once the weather warms up.

From check-in to the overnight stay, this cottage fulfilled all our needs and then some. Exceptionally clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Would definitely recommend!

We came to Indy to get away for a mini vacation. We had planned on biking on the mining, finding some trails, etc. However, we came in on Saturday and the weather turned bitter cold on Monday. Temp was a high of 44 and the windchill was 33… way to cold for outside fun. When the wind hurts your face… it’s no fun, so we left Tuesday vs Wednesday.

Aside from a noisy icemaker the first night we were there, this was a very charming little cottage and was a convenient place to get into downtown Indy.

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at the cottage! It had everything we needed for the two of us and our dog! The cottage is decorated beautifully and is very private even though it’s on the owners property. This actually made it feel more safe to us. The owners were wonderful to work with and answered all of our questions. If we ever come back to Indianapolis, we will definitely stay here again!!!
