My family visits the Oregon Coast every summer and I never review our beach house, but this one was at the top of our list of favorites. The location was spectacular and the amenities in the home were top notch. We are very pleased with our experience.

This home was pretty spacious—there were two living areas, one right off the kitchen, and the other was kind of wasted space, I felt like. It was just a sitting area with a fireplace that was unused by our group. It had a nice fenced backyard, which was nice for all of our kids to play in with windows looking right out at them. There were also tons of beach toys, wagons, camp chairs, a nice BOB stroller, bikes of all sizes—anything you could need for a group with kids to go to the beach, which was nice. There were a ton of games and toys, too. All in all, I’d say we were all pretty happy with this house, it was great with all of our kids.

We really enjoyed the beautiful home and amenities. It was very convenient to beach access and a local store.

There were 6 of us and this property was very comfortable for all of us! The short walk to the beach was perfect!

This was our second stay in this house with the first being in the summer of 2020. Ours was a big group (6 adults and 2 kids), and we were able to stay there fairly comfortably. All of the basic amenities were provided, so we didn't have to worry about anything. The highlight of the house is its location - it's a few blocks from the Ocean, so it was very convenient for us to go to the beach. The sheets on the master bedroom's bed had a few spots on it which we were able to cover up with other fresh sheets, but that was the only issue we had in terms of cleanliness.

Neighborhood is nice and laid back. Convenient location with a few good restaurants and seaside market across the street. Beach is just a short few blocks. Our stay was very nice, there were a few things we tried calling to report but our connection was lost. Called back the next day requesting an email I could report to and was sent and incomplete email. Called a third time and finally verbally sent our concerns like sand in the jacuzzi when we arrived and a couple broken window screens on top floor. Management needs better service especially when people are paying what they pay. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay.

This was a great place to have us and our two kids family in one place for Thanksgiving. It was clean, well laid out and just what we needed. It was also only 2 blocks from the walking area to the main center of town!

This is our “go to” rental at the coast. The home has lots of space and accommodates two families really easily. The layout is great for family games, dinners together and also has space to sneak away to cozy up and read a book. The fenced in yard provides great privacy and the hot tub is great! Beds are super comfy too! The location is really convenient with the beach just a block away and the market across the street. Great rental!

We have stayed here a number of times and have always appreciated the location to beach and local store (though it's a little expensive). The size of the home really fits our needs and we always enjoy the hot tub.

Nice house 3 blocks from beach. Carpets were vacuumed, but many had deep stains. outside hose bib broke and front door jammed closed during stay, Marlo from Vacasa came out promptly and fixed there issues. Dryer vent needs cleaning and carpets need professionl cleaning.

My family loved staying here. Lots of room to spread out and the hot tub was a nice extra feature!

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend staying here. We had high hopes for this house, but it fell far short. Pros include close to beach, quiet/pretty neighborhood, nice backyard, near the promenade and a few restaurants, and has a nice layout of bedrooms upstairs. The cons are far greater. The house is in desperate need of updates. Although the pictures present a nice home, that is relatively up to date, things are deteriorating. The carpet is gross- worn down, BIG stains everywhere, and smells horrible. The paint is chipping, stained, and worn. The furniture is also stained, smells bad, and is generally uninviting. The downstairs kitchen/family room has a bad musty/dog(?) odor like one that can't be cleaned even with cleaning. The hot tub was not properly cleaned and our three kids got horrible "hot tub folliculitis" rashes - eww! The upstairs guest bathroom smelled moldy. All of this said, what we had hoped would be a relaxing, cozy (with cooler weather) vacation wound up feeling like a house that we were trying to avoid and couldn't relax in. I think if a very thorough cleaning and/or remodel of carpet, paint and furniture occurred, it would be a nice place to stay in.

This home was a joy to stay in. It was well stocked and very cozy. The hot tub was the highlight for us.

Very cozy and full of amenities from a wagon, stroller,sand toys to a full kitchen with every appliance you need, plenty of towels and a pac n play in every closet! So hospitable for families!

We love the Sunset Beach house. We have stayed several times and will continue to come back. The house it big, and has enough space for a large group to spread out. The hot tub is lovely. We can bring our dog. It is a short walk to the beach (about 2.5 blocks), has a store across the street as well as a bar with yummy food. Lots of toys for the kids, bikes, games, and books. Great place that feels like home away from home.

This home met all of our requirements for a multiple generation stay. It was perfect for a family gathering of my adult kids and their kids (the grandkids). Plenty of room for all, even a great yard for the dog. All the amenities to cook a big family dinner or BBQ. We loved our stay. The only complaint- it was too short. We will be back.

Great property! Great location. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for cooking. Everything was clean. Plenty of toys for the kids. Stroller was great for walking down to the beach. Our only complaint would be that the beds were more firm than our liking. Overall we had a wonderful time!!

We were pleasantly surprised with this property. We loved the location; close to the beach and the main strip in Seaside. The house had plenty of space for nine people.

We had an awesome stay at the Sunset Beach House. The house just had a really nice vibe and was super comfy. There's lots of space and everything you could possibly need or want for a beach stay. The kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub was amazing. And then we stayed nice and warm sitting next to the cozy fireplace. The location was really great too, being situated on a nice wide street with lots of parking and a fair amount of privacy. It just felt… relaxing!

Lots of extras (bikes to ride, lots of games for kids, master bedroom lots of room & even had crab crackers/forks!
